Chiso--
Nyep lept gave a hiss like sreech in agreement with Ryn, before lightly landing on her head.
"True I don't care to much for these goblins, theres something fishy about them. all the same they'd probably cause more trouble if i just let them die here, normaly this wether keeps manticores away. But if they smell their dead meat it will deffinetly attract some and make outing even less possible." explained Chiso quietly, so that the goblins couldn't hear him speak. "Anyway the storms is only going to be a bother until morning." The wind swirld the snow hard and it was quickly become dark. Chiso looked up for a sign of the moon in the dark clouds, he saw nothing. "We should start back right now though, the storm will get worse before it gets better." Chiso grabbed the goblins one at a time and put them complainin on his back. "Can you carry Riko back to the cave if i carry these two then? I would have them walk, but then it would take too long." The mighty tiger gave a responsive nod before pulling the collar of Riko’s shirt inbetween her clamped teeth as she awaited her signal to follow. True, their death in this spot would attract unneeded guest and it would create such a terrible burden to hang upon their heads, however, Ryn was still unsure about letting these two live. If she only had the command too, she would just strike them down now, bad aura and all. She just plain disliked them and Riko definitely had hard feelings toward them as well. He seemed to fidget angrily as he tried to release himself from his sister’s grasp yet no, she couldn’t release him now. He would be left behind if she and Chiso just left him in the snow. With a tattered grunt, she lifted him onto her back and lashed her tail around his shivering body. ”Don’t worry, Riko. We will at Chiso’s cave soon. Do you have your blanket?” He nodded and quickly unraveled the bundle he had been holding: his blanket and the clothes for Ryn when she would change back, yet he had a feeling she would much rather stay as an animal form for tonight. Riko then pulled the blanket around him and waited with a hesitant glare at the two goblins that seemed much more anxious to get into the snow than he did.
’Watch it, you big lug!! I’m not just some stuffed toy you can pull around!” Danke complained grumbling and muttering behind his partner. Yet he kept quiet as he watched Chiso and Ryn discuss with each other. However his confusion continued as he heard no answer from Ryn. Not even a nod yet truly, he was oblivious to all works in mind-talk. ”Hey… Gimbo, ain’t those the two that the boss sent us for?” He murmured under his breath, keeping a weary eye toward the blind one.

Gimbo__
Gimbo struggled around abit trying to get comfertable, but gave up after Chiso hit him on with his wings. "Its hard enough standing in this storm, nothless caring you squimering around," Chsio hissed as he continued moving, apperintly not hearing what the other goblin said. "I think you right, this is just too easy" whispered Gimbo back to his partner. "Only the boss never said anything about this guy..."
Chiso--
Chiso walked infront of the group breaking the wind. He kept his large wings angled, making it alittle easier for everyone behind. Nyep stayed onlya few feet above Ryn scheeching ever few seconds so that she knew where to walk. they eventualy reached the forest and the winds grew less powerful because of their protection. "We're almost there" Chiso announced. with in five minuets they were out side the entrance to the cave. They walked in and Chiso put down the goblins, in an almost throwing fasion to the ground. imedatly he started to stoke the fire back to full life.

Danke gave an uneasy moan. ”Yeah… We should be careful. I say we should get them alone and nab the kid first.” He said with a mischievous grin. His eyes turned back toward Ryn and her brother and immediately, a heavy icy glare fell upon him, as if this storm wasn’t cold enough. Pfft, protective much. He shook his head before turning back to the growing cave. It looked pretty comfy and he was sure thankful for the warmth as they entered. However, the throwing wasn’t really necessary. Ryn entered with a heavy grunt as the heat immediately seeped into her thick fur. ”Riko, go set my clothes in one of the cracks in the cave; in the shadows.” She murmured placing him back down before laying where she stood. ”Make sure your steps are heavy so I can follow” Riko nodded quickly pounding his feet as he padded into another cavern, hidden away like another room. ”Ok, Ryn!” He called back, laying the clothes down before running out of the room as the large tiger stalked forward with a slightly annoyed look upon her whiskers. ”I’m not deaf, Riko. Just blind.” Her words streamed out as she slowly shifted back into her human form. Riko clearly looked away giving a light giggle. ”I know, I know.” He rolled his eyes at her familiar sarcasm, before quickly leaping into her back as she padded out in a familiar feminine fashion. Immediately, she walked over to Chiso, ignoring both goblins with a flip of her hair. She welcomed the warmth from the fire happily, sitting down with a soft smile upon her thin lips. Yet the smile was soon swept off her face as one of the goblins spoke in the most irritating fashion. ”Mmm, what’s a couple of misfits like all you doing up in a mountain like this?” Danke grunted, laying back, head leaning against the wall. His eyes narrowed slightly as he began to plan out what he shall do next. [/blockquote]

Chiso--
Chiso Glared at the goblins, calling them misfits when they were no better then misfits themselves. Still... He pressed his wings tightly against his side, trying to make them as invisible as he could. Nyep emerged from the crack that he rosted in. He Schreeched before peeking at Danke's head. "Nyep, stop that. They are our guests." Nyep glared back in defiance at Chiso, but finaly gave up, and simply turned back and flew to his nest hidden somewhere in the rocks. He didn't trust the golins but he desicded he might aswell answer the question.
"Well, One day i left the my village down in the vallies." Chiso decided it would be best to skip the whole fugitive thing, since he didn't trust them not to bring him back for a reward. "I was hunting one day when i found Nyep. He was really beaten up. knowing Nyep, he had probably gotten into a fight with a grizzly." He chuckled slightly. "He's been like that since I found him, stubborn as anything. I took him in but he wasn't happy about it. You should be glad you don't understand his toung. Eventualy i was able to convince him that he would never fly again if he tried to use his wings in their shape. I think that got to him. He just sat their and let me fix him up. he didn't say anything for days he just kinda stared outside with his taped up wing. then the day came that his wings were fully healed. I set him free and he said the first kind thing i think he's ever said. he told me this, 'thanks featherd centaur, for a misfit your not so bad' then he flew off and i was sure i was never going to see him again." Chiso's expretion took on a dark tone. "Then one day i was out patrolling the mountains. when i got caught in a suden storm. The winds caught me, All i could do was try my hardest not to fall backwards. and then i heard a sound from above. It was Nyep. He was calling, and was able to lead me back to safty. He never did explain why he did it though..." Suddenly Chiso turned to Ryn. "I don't suppose i coud ask you a quetion in private could I Ryn?" He rised up, keeping his arms around Ryn so she wouldn't fall over.
Gimbo__
Gimbo was paying very little attention to the story, and more attention onto the slab of meat he had just found laying on a table. He took a large bit out of it and chewed at it in a way only a goblin could see fit to eat like and still not call it rude. What did he care about the sob storry of some nasty flea bitten bird that liked to peek him on the head. 'I wonder what flying rat tasts like?' he pondered chuckiling to himself. Then taking another bit of the meat.
"I don't suppose i coud ask you a quetion in private could I Ryn?" Suddenly Gimbo's leathery ears perkt up. he looked slyly over to his companion. If they left then they would be able to discuse their next move freely.

Danke let out a grunted yelp as the little rat of a hawk flew down and began pecking the top of his head. ”Why you!!” His hands reached up, missing by only a bit as he grumbled and grunted in anger. ”Hmm…I see, I see…” He murmured under his breath as he traced a circle in the dirt, all the while Chiso began answering his question- as if he wanted them to answer with a stupid sob story. The goblin nodded as if he was listening to a word that came from the centaurs mouth, catching only his last comment that was not at all directed toward them. "I don't suppose I could ask you a question in private could I Ryn?" Thus, the conversation was broken and Danke immediately turned his attention toward his partner. ”Finally, we’re alone.” He murmured shaking his head in sly relief. ”What should we do now? These brats are starting to get on my nerves.” Ryn turned her head slightly to the sound of Chiso’s voice and nodded to his question. ”Of course, Chiso.” She smiled as she got up, steadying herself with Chiso. Walking away she perked up her ears in alarm as she heard a bit of murmuring behind their backs, however, it wasn’t enough to tell what was going on. Thus, she ignored it and quickly settled down at the corner of the cave where she and Chiso could talk in private. ”What is it? Something wrong?” She asked.[/blockquote]

Chiso--
Chiso didn't like the idea of leaving Riko asleep near the two goblins, but he figured even they wouldn't be stupid enough to try and pull something, and if they did Nyep would hear and warn him. So he decided it would be safe enough. "I wanted to ask if maybe..." He paused for a second. "Prehaps i could acompany you on your journey? Its rare for podestrians to try and cross the mountain so late in the winter, and its been so long since I have ever left the mountain side and felt warm out side of a cave."
Gimbo__
Gimbo waited till he was sure that there was no chance the others could hear him. "Well we have to do something fast, these are defently the guys," Gimbo thought.
Nyep rested in his nest. He kept his eyes open though, not willing to sleep when the goblins were still near by. He watched them ready to report anything suspicious to Chiso, they spoke to queitly though for him to hear their words.
[/blockquote] [/blockquote] (how about Riko wakes up hears some of the conversation, they deided to kidnap him then Nyep flys down is about to send an alarm and I'll have Gimbo put him in a bag then they run out and they begin the adventure that way.)

Ryn raised an eyebrow as she listened to the centaur’s words. She was surprised to see why he would want to come, besides, he hadn’t even heard what dangers would come of them as they traveled and why she and Riko were on this journey. Yet he held a firm voice and he held a good reason to go- which was to feel warmth outside of this cave and off of this mountain. Adding to that, he could be a helpful ally for he knew his way out of this mountain and was a strong beast to have at their side. She gave a gentle smile. ”Are you sure you want to come? It will be dangerous and difficult. You don’t even know where we are exactly going.” She murmured those last concerned words. He would be left the decision to go or not, it wouldn’t matter much to Ryn nor Riko for they would go through with the journey with him or not.
Riko on the other hand had awoken to Danke’s words as he spoke in a rough voice. ”Yeah. I think the easiest thing we could do is kidnap the boy first and probably hold him hostage. The girl would be difficult to catch now. Her hearing is precise and if we try to sneak up on her, she would hear us immediately…” He cut himself off as he turned his head to find Riko’s eyes wide and awake. ”Ry-!” Danke leaped forward, grasping the boy, hand over mouth in a rough fashion. Luckily, Ryn had not heard. ”here’s our chance!” He whispered under his breath. Ooc.// That works. ^^ xD[/blockquote]

Gimbo__
Nyep saw as Danke attacked Riko. He leapt down ready to screech out a warning to Chiso and Ryn.
Gimbo jumped up, and threw a bag over Nyep. He tied it shut tightly so that his cries were vainly cut off. "Quick lets get out of here before they notice," Gimbo whispered already half way to the cave enterance.
Chiso--
"Theres nothing i would reather do then accompainy you on your journey, no matter where too." Assuered Chiso. "SO where are you going?" he asked.

Danke gave a nod. ”Good good.” He said, giving out a light chuckle before quickly heading outside with a heaving grunt as he had to pull this boy along they way as he struggled and squirmed in the most difficult fashion. It gave Danke much trouble and even worse, a strong storm was clearly brewing outside. ”Lets go and hurry.” He growled before pushing through the snow in the ay direction that allowed them a quick getaway.
Ryn gave a stifled little giggle as she heard his simple thought out words. ”Well, it’s a bit silly, but we’ve heard of this stone that could grant one with for each person.” She gave a light shrug. ”Riko and I have heard about it and the only way to get there is by following a single silver star. Riko tells me where to go and I just follow. Apperantly, the star was just over these mountains. No matter what happens, we know that the wish is worth it.” She smiled and gave faint sigh. ”I need that wish and Riko needs it too.” She murmured lowering her head.
Ooc.// Eww sucky post cause I g2g to bed anyways… xD When should they figure out that Riko is gone?? Maybe after your post when I post. =3

Chiso--
For a second Chiso couldn't believe what he heard. 'a wish?' It sounded almost absurd but he could seence the sencarity in her voice. 'could it really be?' he pondered about what he would wish for if he had the chance. He was sure that he would wish his wings away. 'maybe i can fianly be a nromal centaur...' he thought. This was a dangerous journey they were undertaking, he had learned a little about astroligie from his mother. It was the job of the medical centaurs like his mom, to predict the the best time to do things, which involved many things incuding studying the motions of the stars. He was by no means an expert, but he thought maye he would be of some help. "I would be honnered if you would have me accompiny you to this wishing stone" he finaly said.
Gimbo__
Gimbo strugled out of the warm cave. Nyep was put putting up a struggle in the sack. Continueing to try and screech but unable to make any noise that would penetrate the bag. "Shut up in there." hissed Gimbo. He disliked going out into the cold from the warm cave. He followed his comradde in the general direction down the mountain side. Little did they know they were heading in the direction of the centaur village, in the exact opposite direction of the silver star.

Ryn lifted her head, her eyes seeming for once like they were connecting with Chiso’s as she gave a swift nod. ”Thank you, Chiso. Your help is definitely welcomed.” She was glad that they would finally have some company on their long journey. For years now the siblings were traveling and rarely did they have help from strangers. However, they have had some enemies seeing that they were considered as thieves in some parts. Yet times were tough and it was hard for both of them to survive. Their journey also brought along some interesting people- Chiso as one of them. Like all the other strangers Ryn and Riko had encountered, they were all misfits like themselves. For example, they once ran into an old hermit living in a dirty little barrel. His clothes were ripped to shreds and his teeth seemed to be decaying inside his mouth. However, even as disgusting and hideous he was, the man was kind enough to offer the two siblings some kindness- sharing some of his left over food and even offering up his only blankets for the night [of which were just as tattered as his clothes, but they didn’t care]. In return, Ryn and Riko went off and stole a buffet-load of food and in the end, the little old hermit was content in his little barrel filled with rich food. And that was only one wonderful example of a kind soul found in such a strange place.
Yet as Ryn pondered upon the thought of it all, she suddenly realized that something was wrong. Her ears swiveled lightly and slowly but surely, she turned her head in the direction of the fire. In moments her eyes widened and her mouth dropped in surprise at the realization that Riko’s presence was here no more. ”RIKO!” Ryn jumped to her feet giving an instinctive growl as she used nearly all her senses to pick up any traces and signs of Riko. She found nothing, yet instead she realized that the two goblins were gone as well. ”They’re gone!!!!” She yelled turning her head back and forth once again and just to her conclusion, the scent leading outside of the cave told her quite clearly that they had taken her only little brother. ’They took him! And they took Nyep!” She yowled throwing her arms back as she shifted to an animal form- of which was a snow leopard. In near moments and a flash of bright light, a winter white big cat stood in Ryn’s place. It gave a loud roar turning her head back toward Chiso. Yet she said nothing. Ryn just wanted her bother back and she would surely rip those two filthy creatures to shreds if she had to. Quick like a snowy blizzard, she sped out of the cave into the snow, tracking their fading scent in the snow.
~~~~~~~~~
Danke’s ears perked in alarm as he heard Ryn’s cries of despair from the cave. ”Hmph. Seems like your sister is fired up.” He whispered in Riko’s ear as he dragged him along at a faster pace. It was time to make their quick leave for he knew that Ryn and Chiso would be on their tails soon enough. The goblin turned his head toward Gimbo giving him an urgent look ”Come on. Let’s be quick and get rid of this kid already. He’s heavy and his snow isn’t helping! Adding to that, his sister doesn’t seem too happy about our little heist.” He shuddered at the thought of large teeth closing around his throat as large claws sunk deep into his chest, killing him slow and painfully.[/blockquote]
Chiso--
Chiso's eyes grew large when he heard Ryn saying that Riko was missing. He knew it was the goblins before he even got in there. He felt like an ice ball was in his stomach when he heard that Nyep was missing too. 'How did they get him too?!' he thought as he dashed into the main room. No wonder why they din't know before it was too late. Sure at times Nyep could be unsensivitve, uncaring, and even nasty. Still he would never let something happen to a young child, and it was the goblins he disliked not Riko. By the time he had reached the room Ryn had transphormed into a snow leaperd and was runnign out of the entrance. For only a second he stopped and looked around for any hints the foolish goblins would have left as too where they were headed. All he noticed was some rope and two sacks were missing. 'so thats how...' he didn't pause for a moment before running as fast as he could and then taking to the air. "Ryn they are caring Riko and Nyep in some sacks, i notices some missing on the way out, they'll slow them down, if we go as fast as we can we might catch them before they get too far!" Chiso called to Ryn. He wasn't about to let ethire Nyep of Riko get hurt by these goblins.
Gimbo__
Gimbo gritted as he tried to keep the hyper falcon under his control, and was beging to fail. 'how the heck can a five ounce bird be lifting me off my feet! I might be small but im not THAT small!' Gimbo thought as he pulled hard on the sack, as the stuborn falcon litteraly did start to lift him up. "I couldn't agree more lets dump them over here!" Gimbo said. The two goblins made for the area Gimbo pointed out, a small cave that was just big enough for the boy and bird. However Gimbo failed to realise that there was an ice patch. His footing slipped, he let go of his bag and then stumbled knocing dunkin over. The two goblins and the sack that held the little boy went tumblig down.
When they finaly landed to a stop. Gimbo rubbed his back, it was a long fall. They were in a valley now, for a second he realished the warmth. But, only for a second. Pointed at them were two swords. Held by centaurs, they looked about the same age as Chiso, maybe a little smaller, at least the rad haired one did. He had a red body they faded into a dark brown. He also had mischievious green eyes. the other sword slightly longer then the one held by the red haird centaur was held by a brown haired centaur with a more focused brown stair. Still he looked young and was roughly as strong looking as Chiso, prehaps even stronger, as fi he had been living on a mountain all by himself aswell. there was almost a saddness in his dark brown eyes. However powerful this due might have been together was not what scared Gimbo though. For standing right infront of them was a long, black haired centaur, it was very smooth and laid flat down to his back. his eyes were also black, one having a large scare across it. He was much older then them, though not grandpa old, he looked abot middle age, and in his prime. His gaze was cold and he held a logn bow with a large arrow pointed right at donkins nose. "Good job Gerico, and Seeth. You caught two trasspacers." said the black haired centaur with a voice that sounded very dangeorus and grave. "Why did you come here?" he asked, in what sounded more like a demand. "And what in your sack?" this time it soudned friendlyer, though still sharp, prehaps his curriosity was softening his anger.
Riko gave out a sort of ’oof’ as Danke and Gimbo both slipped along the ice, dropping both sacks containing their captives. His eyes widened lightly and for a moment or two he was too shocked to think- let alone move from his spot. Luckily, something had happened and the two goblins didn’t resume with their dastardly scheme which gave Riko enough time to actually regain control of his shivering body and enough time to think. His eyes peered cautiously out of the sack as he tried to examine what was happening. To his surprise he found three centaurs like Chiso himself looking down at the two pitiful goblins and for a split moment he had thought that Chiso was here to rescue him. But two things were wrong. One: Ryn wasn’t there. Wouldn’t she want to tag along to find her only brother? But of course she would! She wouldn’t just leave her… would she? Two: These centaurs… there were three and none of them had wings upon their back- so they couldn’t be Chiso! Riko gave a gasp of surprise before giving out a faint whine.
His brain told him to stay; telling him to stay quiet or he would be either rip to shreds by the centaurs’ blades or taken away again, helplessly like before. Yet he shook his head at this thought. If he stayed he would have no chance at finding his sister- so in turn, his heart told him to run; to run fast and far without looking back. This way he would surely have at least a sliver of a chance at joining back with his sister and Chiso so they may complete their journey and get those wishes, but how about Nyep? Riko shook his head. The bird was strong and by now he expected the animal to be flying off by now ready to warn Chiso and Ryn about their misfortune so Riko had no choice. He had to run.
The little boy quickly gathered up his courage, clutching his hands into fists before sprinting out of the dark sack- legs running as fast as they had ever carried him. Riko closed his eyes turning his head only slightly at the temptation of looking back, but that would slow him down so he continued on- hoping and only hoping that he wouldn’t be seen nor caught.
~~~
Danke on the other hand, gave out a faint yelp as he fell upon his stomach- hands flying immediately; letting go of its precious cargo. And in moments they were both in trouble. ”The boy is running away!” He whispered under his breath toward Gimbo giving another frustrated growl. They had failed and failed miserably at that. The boy was well off on his way back to his sister and now they hand to deal with a handful of centaurs that looked three times as dangerous as Chiso- and just one with wings was hard to deal with enough. Danke could just imagine what three times of Chiso would do upon them.
The goblin slowly got up, lifting his hands up to shoulder height and letting out a friendly chuckle as if it could calm the middle centaur in all his rage. ”Please Please. We mean no harm. Uh…Uhh…. What’s in our bags…. Just some…” He looked down at Gimbo hoping his could find the answer. His eyes darted straight back up to the three, focusing deeply upon the one who pointed the sword at his neck. Why you little… He clenched his teeth and forced a smile. He couldn’t afford to get killed now. Their plan had almost gone out as smoothly as it should have but now… it was ruined. Yet as Danke looked on he knew there had to be a way to fix all of this and gain back their hostages.
~~~
Ryn roared into the falling snow, her paws nearly scraping through the snow and digging into the dirt underneath as she was impatient. The goblins must’ve gone a long way and Ryn was beginning to tire- her stomach growling as well. Yet she couldn’t give up. Not just yet. No, she had to save Riko and their scents were getting fresher and fresher with each step. She just couldn’t give up now. ”They’re still pretty far, but their scents are near. I think we’re almost-“ Ryn suddenly cut herself off as she skid to a stop. What made her stop was the faint sound of talking- the sound of Danke’s voice and another- but who? She lifted her head toward the sky seeing that Chiso was flying and able to see the action soon enough. ”Who’s over there Chiso? I can hear the goblins and I can smell them, but I don’t smell Riko nor Nyep and…and… I can scent three others. Who are they?”
Chiso--
Chiso just hoovered in the air. He listened to their voices carefully. He knew exactly who it was. "I, I don't know who, they sound a bit like the have the accent of my old village though, so their probably centaurs..." lied Chiso. He did know who the centaurs were who were talking. He knew al three of them. For some reason though, even though she knew his story, he couldn't bring himself to say how he knew them. He landed beside Ryn slipping a bit due to the icyness of the rocks. It would make sense that they would end up in his old village, he should have thought of that before hand. 'if i had known... what difference would it have made if i had know he ws going to run into THEM of all centaurs!' he deabated the issue in his mind. He would do anything to save his friends. But did that include go back to his old village? A village willing to kill him for being different? A village that raised him and then turned on him, everyone he knew, just liek that once they foudn out his secret? could he realy just let his friend get kidnapped because of this? could he let anyone hav ethis happen to thim? all these quetions buzzed through his mind. Nyep was dwn there too, and if he just let Ryn go could he join them on their journey? would he be able to make his wish? a wish for normalcy?
Is that really what he wanted more then anything? He didnt' know anymore.
"What should we do Ryn?" Chiso asked. His face grave and the tone in his voice quiet and slow as if he didn't want the centaurs so far bellow to hear him.
Gimbo__
Gimbo Panicked for a second as he suddenly realized what had happened. He need a way that would right hodling a seven year old in a sack as he ran away, thus saving their lives and maybe even getting the kid back. "Um well you see the kid..." Gimbo started. Then he suddenly got an idea. "The kids a convict! Ya he might be small but trust me hes no good. He's wanted in several places for stealing the most expensive stuff in town!" It was true that his sister would steal food for them and stuff, maybe money if they ever needed it, but they weren't true thieves. but they were wanted for thievery in some places so it was not a complete lie, and the best lies have some truth to them.
The Black haired cantaur looked at him with suspisous eyes. "Is that so? So you think they might be a threat to our village?" He asked.
"Most deffently!" Agreed Gimbo as he saw his plan might actualy work.
The black hair centaur nodde. "Ok Galico, Seeth, after the boy. Take him prisoner and put him in a the jail. i'll take these two back to the village." with that he lifted the tow goblins by their feet and ran away with them at hand like they were two sacks of flour rather than two livign things. obviously this centaur was neithe going to be slowed down by their slwoer pace, or lower his slef to be ridden by someone. Soon they arrived at the village, it was quant and small, their were only dirt roads, and plants grew out from every where. there was a wooden almost bamboo like wall around the village, but it blended into the forest and almost seemed no existant. how ever their was nothing to stop anyone from coming in and out, for a moment Gimbo thought that this place must be in danger of being raided with a wide open front door, but the jungle here seemed peaceful enough. The houses were small and made with bended trees with what looked like hey ontop. "I wonder if they eat their roofs...." Gimbo said quietly. Almost in response the black haired centaur dropped them on the backs. and ran off.
[/blockquote] Nyep
Nyep shock his head. The goblins had dropped him before they had fallen. He wriggled out of his sack and then flew downward. For a second he thought he herd the soudn of Ryn and Chiso approaching, but he decided to ignor it. Riko was in trouble now he couldn't just leave him for a chance that he could find the others. He landed on a branch and saw what discusion with the centaurs he didn't pay attention to them though. based on their description he knew who each of them were. And then ment trouble. When Riko ran Nyep followed him but he couldn't get to him before the two centaurs caught him and dragged him back toward the jail cell. it was in what looked like a normal house. the ground was covered in straw and the bards were made of bamboo it was sturdy enough to hold him in though. The two centaurs stood at the opposite wall gaurding him from exiting. the red haired centaur, Seeth, was the one who brock the silence, he didn't seem like the kinda that like a lack of conversation. "So did you see the winged monster on your way over the mountians?" he asked half exitedly. The brown haird centaur Galico, shot him a dirty glance before elbowing him "What he means to say," he corrected his friend "Is have you meet the centaur Chiso?"
Riko turned his head, breathing heavily for his little legs were beginning to slow, yet his eyes immediately widened and he sped up to a quick sprint as two of the strange centaurs ran after him. They were quick- of course! Four legs against two, it just wasn’t fair and with that, he was captured and thrown into a bamboo cage. A tear ran down his face as he tried pushing and pulling at the bars. However, they were just too strong for a young boy like him. And in suite he refused to answer their question. Chiso wasn’t a monster. He was just like these centaurs except he was better. Chiso was nice and would never lock him up like this. Never.
”Ryn!!! Ryn!!!! HELP ME!!!” Riko cried out, clasping the bars with his hands and breaking into tears. He could stand it anymore. He couldn’t be the strong man he wanted to be. He just wanted his sister back…
Ryn lowered her head, growling angrily in annoyance. Whoever they were, they could be enemies or allies but she didn’t care. She just wanted her brother back and the goblins were to blame of their separation. Suddenly she heard the cry of her name- clear as day and as familiar as the back of her hand. ”Riko…” She whispered, her blind eyes suddenly narrowing. ”RIKO!!!” She cried out in reply before getting ready to pounce forward. ”I have to get my brother back. We have to go, Chiso. Riko is in trouble and if he’s down there then Nyep’s probably not too far behind!” Without warning Ryn catapulted forward, throwing herself down the hill that separated them and the others.
In a few lengthy leaps and a gentle drumbeat of paws, Ryn arrived at the village entrance. She could hear the crisp bustling of centaurs, some galloping along the ground and others walking calmly yet it was all a rustle of sound to Ryn’s sensitive ears. It was like hearing a stampede of horses running across hard ground- times ten. It was just too much and for a moment, she took a step back to take it all in. However, as moments passed by and the sound still deafening to her ears, she decided that this precious time could be put to better use- to save Riko!
Ryn braced herself before charged into the cloud of rustling and bustling; hissing and growling at anyone who approached her. Yet she did not attack. She had to save her remaining enemy for whoever took Riko and she could scent them. They were definitely nearby. However, she didn’t come to this conclusion all too quickly for their scents, like the sounds were mixed greatly with others which began to irritate her. Come on, Riko. Hang on, I’m almost there! She quickly slid to a stop as she came upon a fork in the paths. Hmm… Once again, their scents were lost and for a few moments she sniffed at the ground trying to catch Riko’s unique smell. However, time was running out and she was in trouble. Swiff! Ryn gave out a sudden roar as an arrow buzzed past her ears, nearly missing. Shoo. Gotta hurry! Rushed greatly, Ryn quickly shook her head back and forth, inhaling lung-full of scents yet none of them, Riko. She growled out loud hissing and scratching the ground. Yet- wait! That scent! Nyep! She knew that faint scent that drifted thickly through the air was familiar. With a kick of her paws, she rushed off following Nyep’s scent- which immediately led her to the jail that Riko was held in.
Ryn could smell them- their scents now overwhelming the other different centaur odors and now she could just picture where they were. Perfect. Once again, the leopard pounced giving off a roar. She aimed first at Seeth who seemed to be the one talking. Her claws quickly scoring his neck and his chest for she fell short from scratching his face. Ryn quickly turned around and slashed at the other centaur’s shoulder, missing his face once again, yet she wasn’t through with these two yet. The leopard swiftly threw her weight forward, tackling the two to the ground, hissing and growling as she placed her heavy paws upon both their neck’s. ”Let my brother go!”
With Ryn’s appearance, Riko’s eyes brightened and he began jumping up and down as she went into battle with the two centaurs. ”Ryn!! Come on Ryn! Take ‘em down! You can do it!!” He cheered on.
Danke grunted as he was suddenly picked up by the large centaur. Yet on the way to their village he made no comment. He didn’t want to get on the warrior’s bad-side for he was much taller than both of them put together and probably just as strong. Yet as he dropped the two onto the ground, Danke quickly jumped to his feet, brushing the dirt from his clothes. ”Stupid centaur! Just leaving us here without even a threat.” He grunted before turning his head to his companion. ”C’mon Gimbo. We gotta go find where they’re hiding the boy.”[/blockquote]
Chiso took a few steps toward the village, moving at a sluggish pace. Still he didn’t dare take a step out of the woodland. He simply looked wide eyed at the open entrance as Ryn ran through. He couldn’t leave his friends alone in there, but how could he just stroll in there and expect to be any help? He knew the moment he stepped foot in there, everyone he once called friend would be throwing spears at him. “Nyep… Riko…” he whispered, they had been through so much together, and Riko was so young yet he and his sister had such a close bond. Chiso took a step into the light, and then another, before galloping into the entrance of the city. He was fairly certain he heard some people screaming monster as they saw him. Luckily most of them were just shocked. Still he heard the eerily familiar cracking noise of a bow some where ahead. He paid no attention to it though, he had to find Ryn, which didn’t take long since she was roaring at any pedestrian that came within five feet of her. When he finally did get a good visual on her though, he heard a wisp through the air, the sound of an arrow. It hit him in the shoulder and he tumbled down. The sound of horse hoofs began to surround him cheering. One centaur in particular walked right in front of Chiso. Chiso lifted his head and saw the long black haired centaur, a bow in his hard resting against his shoulder, he grinned at Chiso. “Arrow…” he said quietly before his head feel down. Arrow looked around at the crowed, “Well? What are you waiting for? Take him to the elders den NOW!”
Galico laid on his back he chose not to try and defend him self. The last thing he wanted to do was make ANOTHER enemy. “Please…. Tell me one of you has seen my friend Chiso… Please tell me he is still alive,” he nearly coughed. It had been so long since had last seen him, he couldn’t believe anyone could have survived such an existence of bitter cold in the mountains. Suddenly the noise outside changed. There was screaming like the village was rejoicing after defeating a forsaken enemy. At first it was hard to decipher what was being said, but then it became clear. They were screaming “The monster is dead the monster is dead!” Galico was frozen, “They can’t be talking about Chiso… It can’t be him not now he can’t have died that simply…” tears began to stream down the normally strong centaurs face. Even Seeth, the normally optimistic even in the most hapless situations, was starting to cry. And somewhere in the thatched roof where Nyep hide, he too was crying. Nyep, who never acted as if he even wanted anyone else around, and now he was all by himself. He dashed through and open window and flew toward the forest, and away from anything he knew.
---
“Ok just one small problem,” Gimbo said getting up and pointing toward where Ryn was roaring past. “And then there’s that…” He pointed to where Chiso was rushing through the entrance.
(too lazy to put it in another format sry it took so long ^^\ dramatic at least XD)
Ryn’s blind eyes widened as the centaur’s name traveled through her sensitive ear drums. ”It can’t be…?” She turned her head slightly to the right, straining to decipher word by word. It was all in an overwhelming mass of muttering and cheering. It stung the leopard’s ears as she focused on the intense sound, however, it wasn’t long until she could make out a few wailed words that had been fired into the air as a result from some strange incident. ”Chiso…monter…killed…” She murmured under her breath trying to pull out a phrase or two yet she had no luck. Ryn winced trying to bring her attention away fro the roaring crowd as to keep from amplifying the sound. It was just all too much, just as when she had walked into the city. Ryn shook her head. ”It can’t be. I just can’t…” her voice shuddered for a moment, yet as she began to think about it, she couldn’t deny it. Something happened to Chiso and slowly but surely, a tear slowly flowed down the side of her cheek. ”Grr… CHISO!” She wailed, sending a booming roar into the air before leaping over to the bamboo containment and slashing at the stalks with all her might. Breathing heavily and slashing one last time, the cage quickly collapsed, leaving Riko looking up at Ryn with despair in his eyes.
”Is Chiso really… dead?” He whimpered slowly walking over to Ryn and wrapping his arms around her furry neck before burying his face into her chest fur.
”I hope not…” Ryn whispered taking a slight step back before quickly picking Riko up by the collar of his shirt. With a grunt she leaped over the two centaurs and then broke into a sprint into the forest, tears streaming down her face. It can’t be true… She thought to herself. After a few long strides, Ryn placed Riko down under the shelter of a fir tree. ”Riko. Stay here; if I don’t come back, look for Nyep.” Riko nodded and pleaded for one last hug before Ryn leaped away once again toward the city. She closed her eyes and let the tears dry away with the wind as she made her way back into the forsaken town with the stomping of hooves and loud shouting in joy for the killing of a monster that was never suppose to be. ”Chiso… hang on there…” She murmured, powering forward, her muscles thinning; legs lengthening as she took on the appearance of a cheetah. She had to hurry or else she would be too late.
~~~
Ryn had easily followed the scent and the sound of the gathering centaurs to where Chiso seemed to be held. It pained her physically to get closer as the sound of cheering and stomping burned her ear drums and it pained her mentally with the thought that she might arrive to find Chiso dead without a trace of hope to getting him back. And as the cheetah got closer, she began to change once again. Muscle and fat began to pile onto her paws and legs while her fur began changing from yellow to white once again. A roar echoed through the crowd and everyone turned with a loud chorus-like gasp that echoed from creature to creature. Yelps and screams were heard as Ryn, in the form of a white tiger, leaped and slashed at anyone in her way. They all began to run. The men quickly running at her while the women rushed the young ones away into a shelter. ”CHISO!” Ryn called out dodging back and forth as she kept her eyes upon the lone building in the middle of the crowd. She was so close! But then…
An arrow whizzed past her and with a growl she quickly attempted to tackle the firer. But the centaur was quick. He immediately dodged and shot another arrow toward her. She yelped, falling to the ground with the arrow striking her in the side. But she was not to fall so easily. With a growl she shakily stumbled to her feet and quickly tackled the centaur named Arrow. Luckily this time she knocked him to the side and with an adrenaline-fueled leap, she strode into the building, knocking the door clear off. ”Chiso!” She wailed running to the centaur’s side. ”Chiso! Wake up! Speak to me, Chiso!” She whimpered nudging his shoulder and his wings before nudging his head. His body felt cold to her touch. Maybe… it was too late…
Ryn let out another loud roar of pure frustration and despair. ”Chiso! Please! Live Chiso!” She was starting to breathe heavily for the pain from her battle wounds began to become too cumbersome for one to handle. She licked his shoulder then ran her cold nose along his body trying to get a good feel of where he actually was. And slowly she began to change from tiger to human. Paws to hands; muzzle to mouth; ears to hair. Before long, Ryn’s human form, bare and naked like before, stood over Chiso. Salty tears continued to flow from her blind eyes and stumbling slightly she searched for a blanket. Luckily she had stumbled upon one and quickly wrapped herself within it. With a nod she slowly ran her fingers along his angled face. ”Chiso…” She whispered in one last attempt hoping he would wake soon yet trouble was slowly making it’s way through the door…
~~~
Meanwhile… ”Nyep!” Riko called out as his tear-sodden eyes searched around for the hawk. He knew Ryn would need help. Something was wrong and he couldn’t just leave his blind sister up to the job. But he was just as useless as Ryn was in her human form. So, as directed, he searched for assistance with Nyep. Hopefully he had heard. With a grunt, the boy shakily got to his feet before slowly and carefully trudging toward to town of ravenous centaurs.
