Kota rolled her eyes as Kelsi jumped right into the questions and such. She hugged her friend, smiling at both Kels and Arty. She had been out all morning - since before either of the two were up. She had opened her mouth to speak, which she would've done if Otto hadn't made that comment. A look of pure shock crossed over her face, followed quickly by horror. How could that little mutt think she was married? To a vulture none the less. But then it dawned on her on how hilarious it was to even think about that sort of thing. Her, married to Vlad? Sure she liked him and all - but she wouldn't go that far. "Nope," she said, holding back a laugh. The young fox knew that if she laughed she wouldn't be able to stop for a while, and plus why would she want to laugh at that thought with Vlad standing there. Though a few giggles still escaped her. Spike took interest in the comment, raising an eyebrow and looking at Dakota. He knew she liked Vlad, and clearly wondered what she had been telling Otto. He shrugged a bit, pushing back some of his hair. He didn't need to talk - so he wouldn't, Kelsi surely spoke enough for all of them. He leaned against the pole, putting his hands in the jacket's pockets. Kelsi got a shocked look on her face, before bursting into laughter. Yes, Dakota may not want to laugh but Kelsi surely did. Dakota and Vlad? How funny! She composed herself quickly though, jumping from one emoton to the next within seconds. "Yes, no hug for Vlad," she said simply, but then she heard Otto's cooing. This got her attention as she looked at him - who was now closer to her. She took a few steps, her bushy tail flicking wildly. "Like there's not enough dogs here already," she muttered slightly to herself - thinking of the pack of people who all had canine dna. "Er, so who is he Kota?" Kels finally asked, definately wanting an answer now since the coyote didn't seem to be answering. Dakota smiled, not really knowing if she could open her mouth without laughing - but then there was both Vlad's and Kels's questions. "Otto's his name, I - err - found him in the forest," she said, not particularly wanting to tell them that /he/ had found /her/, especially since he tackled her in the process.[/blockquote]

Vlad merely glanced at Otto, him and Kota was new. Yes most of the girls here wanted to marry him, but he had never sense that from Kota. He had heard about her liking him, never pursued it. She knew how hard it was to even get him to take you on a date. He just didn't like to do though things. He shrugged a little at Otto, though the laughing was really throwing him off his grove. He glared at both of the girls the only one he seemed to be on his good side was Spike. He talked less then a dud with a mouth glued shut.
He frowned and sulked off closer to Kota. He glanced up at her, with a quivering lip and watery eyes. "Can I get a hug." he asked, trying not to smile. A normal act for him, Vlad did like hugs. He glanced over at Kelsi, still in his cry for my mood and glared and looked back at Kota. "Please." he mumbled.
After that was all done, he heard the dog thing mumble kitty. Yes dog being Otto, and it looked like he had a thing for cats, or just wanted to eat them. "Sic her boy." he commanded with a smile. The hug thing was over, and this Otto looked interesting.
Otto didn't really notice the laughing between the girls about his recent comment. Nor Vlad's acting, though he did notice Spike and his laid back attitude. If he wasn't chanting kitty he might have just asked him about why he was so calm. His white eyes glanced between all three of them till Vlad said Sic her.
Being the young puppy he was, it didn't mean Otto was train correctly. So instead of jumping on her with snarls and growls, and trying to bite her head of. He sat down, yes on the ground like a good little dog. He wagged his tail as he glanced at the person he told him what to do. Then he piked over to Kota, with a smile he bounded up again.
"So who are all this people?" he asked her. Since he was introduced by her, she might as well introduce everybody else right? He wagged his tail as he looked at everybody again. He got a good look at them this time though. A hedgehog, a cat, and a Vulture.

IM SLEEPING MY WAY OUT OF THIS ONE WITH ANYONE WHO WILL LIE DOWN The young girl ran her hand through her hair, and then began to twirl a piece of her hot pink hair in between her fingers. She was steadily growing more bored. Kelsi was on an adrenaline rush - obviously - and Artemis was... Artemis. He was acting the normal way - cool, calm and collected; the typical Arty. She sighed lightly, leaning back and transferring her weight from her heels to the top of her foot, rocking back and forth as she watched everyone with her brown eyes. A soft smile appeared on her face at Vladimir's begging. He was so innocent - or at least her appeared to be, but the pink-haired fox doubted highly he was the farthest from innocent any person could be.
Kelsi continued to bounce around, her bushy tail flicking wildly. So much action going around. A new person, Vlad talking, Kota being Kota, and Arty being... well like Dakota, just being himself the quiet, always seeming mysterious sort of person. Throughout the day the black and white cat morph had only gotten about thirteen sentences from him, and that was since dawn and it was already past noon now. He was a very untalkative porcupine-hedgehog thing. What was he anyways? No one really knew. Mostly everyone thought he only had a little bit of animal genes in him. The only real noticable thing at the moment of his morph was his spiked hair - it was the only thing he got from the dna, but he was more than meets the eye. When angered or when he was running low on patience he would grow spikes on his back and arms, it was really quite interesting. Though few saw him like that. Kelsi had only seen him like it one or twice, and Dakota only a brief glance once when she walked in on an argument between Artemis and another dog morph. He attention was shot back to earth when Vlad began to speak once again. She giggled lightly, then spoke once again her tone more crisp and cold. "Nope, no hug for Vladie."
Then she jumped lightly, curling her tail closer to her body at his next command. Kels narrowed her eyes, bouncing her gaze from the vulture to the puppy, giving the coyote a death glare. If he attacked her he'd be so sorry. She then loped over to the pink-haired teenager, an angelic smile on her face. Carpenter then clasped her hands on Dakota's shoulder, leaning slightly against it. She smiled again, turning around to face everyone else. Carter raised her eyebrows, her eyes opening a bit more. "Oh, yeah. Uhh," she said, looking at everyone gathered around. "Well, that's Vlad; that's Artemis over there, and this is Kelsi," she said a small smile on her face. As she spoke the names of the morphs she waved her hand near them, her light blue nail polish sparkling in the bright sunlight. Her hand then went back to her face as she ran it over it slightly. She had broken out again as the sunlight hit her face. It always happened, sunlight made her break out. Everyone thought it was so odd when she got little bumps on her face from being in direct sunlight to long. Kota blinked her eyes, moving only a bit in a way that looked like she was only shifting her weight, so that she was now out of a majority of sunlight and in the shadows - with Kelsi still hanging on her arm. Kels blinked her eyes, watching as her best friend introduced everyone. Poor Dakota, she was centered out in front of everyone. The girl never really talked and it was a pity to see such an unsocial girl being forced to speak out in front of a small group of people, more than half of them boys. The blonde shook her head lightly, making a small disgruntled clucking noise. Might as well throw a question back at Otto for a change. He hadn't spoken much and since he was the new kid he might as well contribute a bit. "So, what does Kota mean when she says she 'found you'? Hmm?" The feline's light blue eyes narrowed as she stared at the dog. He was a mutt coyote, with no real breed, plus he was still a puppy. Ugh, Dakota could be an extreme idiot sometimes. Bringing an untrained morph into the town, how stupid could she get? There were two kinds of morphs. The townies and the wilds; wilds should never be brought into town, while the townies could go where ever they pleased; but now Otto was probably going to join the town, and mess up the whole configuration. The older girl clucked her tongue in annoyance at both the thought of a wild moving in, and because it was taking an incredibly long time for him to respond; even though it had only been seconds.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Otto nodded his head as Kota pointed and said a name. He scratched his white hair before falling back wards. His white tail flicked back and forth against the ground flicking his tail up he let out a small whimper. "Way to many names to remember." he groaned at Kota sitting up from his laying position. He but his hand on his head, muttered some words that wasn't very easily understood. He shifted his glance from Kelsi to Vlad then to Artemis.
Otto looked up at Kelsi, "Found me?" he asked her. He shook his head a little, white curls tumbling across his forehead. He let out a small chuckle, his should moving up and down with his laughter. He flicked his tail in amusement a smile played on his lips. "I was never lost." he said to her with a nod. A huge grin was one his face, as he flick his tail back of forth quickly.
"Ok I get it now, This is Kitty" pointing at the black and white cat who was some what glaring at her. "And that is Spiky," pointing the the boy who hadn't said anything but had very spiky hair. And then he moved his hand toward Vlad, and fell back toward the ground. "I can't think of a name." he moaned. He scratched his white hair while laying flat on the ground.
Vlad watched as the puppy dog pointed to each of his friends giving different nicknames for each. He chuckled at them, they were so simply, Kitty because of the ears, and Spiky because of the hair. He chuckled more loudly to himself as the puppy pointed at him. "here it goes." he said to himself in the moment of silence. He face changed, from joyfully laughing to a bleak expressionless smile. "What." he muttered to himself.
"No name for Vlad?" he asked the puppy who shook his head. He shoulders slump foreword. "No hug then no name." he mumbled walking towards Artemis, the only one who hasn't really mad him sad in any way today. "what has this world come to?" he asked himself glancing up at the heavens. "Why must the world be so cruel."

CAUSE TWO CAN KEEP A SECRET IF ONE OF THEM IS DEAD...DAKOTA sighed gently to herself. A soft breeze was blowing around the group, making her hair sway to and fro like currents in the water. The hot pink strands shimmered in the sunlight, stealing away all of the sparkled light for themselves. Her brown eyes drifted over the group gingerly, like she wasn't all there. She had been this way since she had met Otto, odd, yes it was very odd. But that wasn't her worry, her worry was that someone would pick it up. Most likely it wouldn't be Kelsi - no, it definitely wouldn't be Kels, or Otto since he was new. The two most keen to notice would be Artemis and Vlad, but Vlad shouldn't be paying that close enough attention to her anyways, so she wouldn't have to worry about him, only Artemis. Which would be hard, because Arty knew and saw everything.
THE black and white female's face scrunched up in a scowl. How rude of the little mutt! Calling her kitty - again! Once or twice was fine, but giving it to her as a nickname, no, no, definitely not appropriate. She pushed up the sleeves of her black sweater, up above her elbow and then stood straight, her posture perfect. Her eyes were narrowed, glaring a hole into the bleach blonde boy. "Dont. Call. Me. Kitty,"
she said, and then she felt like emphasizing the point. Her hands still at her sides, she flexed her claws. Her nails grew thinner and sharper, and quickly looked like they slid in and out of her knuckles. It didn't hurt her in the least, but it would sure hurt anything that it got into. That was for sure. SHE giggled lightly at her best friend's show of anger. Kelsi was always known to go over the top on things, her anger being one of them. She would switch moods quickly, one moment being extremely happy and then the next she would be anger as a steam train. Yes, yes that was in fact a very strange simile. What was wrong with Dakota? She just couldn't seem to think for some reason lately. Her eyes drifted away from Kelsi for a moment, landing on Vlad while he spoke. After he was done a small blush came to her already pale pink cheeks from staring at him for longer than needed, thankfully Miss Carpenter once again opened her big mouth, saving her from any witty comment that might have come next from Vladimir or Artemis. "YES, no nickname for Vladdy," she said, smirking, "You aren't special enough!" Kelsi was always like that, again with the mood change. She was just good like that. Her claws flexed back in, ready to spring at a moments' notice, but of course she had back up if they didn't. Licking her lips gently, her teeth were seen. They were normal enough, except that every single was was pointed at the end, and stained slightly a darker color, tiny bit brown. Blood maybe? Ooh, freaky. What a new perspective to look at Kelsi at. Crazy blood-drinking black and white cat morph? Interesting... WORD COUNT • 519 WORDS[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Otto rubbed his eyes a bit, ignoring both Vlad's and Kitty's comment. He did some what hear the cats threat but it didn't really bother him. Otto would call her kitty anyways, she seemed like a kitty. He scratched slowly at his white hair as he watched the action take place. The girl who he had found early, Kota, was glancing back and forth, watching Vlad and Kitty much like himself. But she seemed to be taking in everything they said. To Otto it was much like those T.V. in a completely different language. He titled his head a bit, the one cat who was just mad seemed bubbly and happy. Did they always act like this when that one bird talked?
"Don't mock me." Vlad grumbled as he slumped to the ground. He gave a mock tear expression towards Kelsi, his bottom lip trembled a bit. A moments silence passed, Vlad twitched his wings a bit, then jumped up in a hurry. "I am more than special." he demanded, running one of his hands through his dark gray hair. Maybe he caught that little blush in Kota, or how she had gazed at him a little longer then usually. But knowledge really didn't show up with how he acted. Much like a statue standing there, his hand held in a fist which was pointed towards the sky. "The sky won't get me down."
Otto head was now very titled as the bird jumped out. He thought for sure that Vlad would take off, maybe fly towards the sky and but up the gods within. No way no how, he was standing there, more like posing in a sense. Dramatic it was, and Otto could not find any words to say. He opened his mouth once, sharp teeth showed, then he shut it again. The puppy let out a little sigh, turning his attention to the ground, then looked back at Vlad. He was confused out of his mind. "You are a freak." he finally muttered before standing up.
Otto brushed off some of the dust from his ripped pants. Nothing big though, a tore by the knees, and ripped at where his feet were. The ripped showed off his rather large tennis shoes which were brown from all the dirt. Then he had a gray teeshirt which ended under where a belt would have been on his pants. Otto glanced around once more, his white eyes scanning everywhere, watching everyone for any movement. He spotted Kota and took a step closer to her. "Why do you have such weird friends?"

Dakota held her breath slightly, just breathing in and out a little bit. She was purposely keeping her eyes off of Vlad. She just didn't want to stare any more. What was coming over her? Maybe it was leaving Sugar Mountain. She should probably stop doing that now that she thought about it. There might be things out there she could catch, many of them not nearly as puppy like as Otto. She sighed, bringing he hand to her forehead. This was giving her a headache, a rather large one indeed. If only Kelsi and Vlad could stop bickering for five minutes. It was always like this with them. Back and forth and back and forth. She opened her eyes, looking over at Artemis with a pleading glance in her eyes. If only he would go find something to do, Kelsi would surely follow him. They had trained her that much at least.
"But mocking you is fun bird brain," she hissed, twitching her tail slightly. Oh yeah. Kelsi was totally normal, except for that black tail and how you could barely see her ears in her hair. "The only special thing you could be is the special for dinner," she purred, licking her lips and showing her pearly white canines to emphasize the point. Poor Vlad, he was being threatened to be on the cafeteria's menu. The cat just stood there with her hands on her hips, watching him pose. She gaped a little bit. "Maybe we should put him out of his misery and make him the dinner special. Vlad a la' Queen. Mmm, sounds good already!" she said, smiling her devilish smile.
Dakota laughed slightly at Vlad's pose. She couldn't help it, she had looked back to the fight between the vulture and the house cat even though it gave her a total headache. He was posing as if he was gonna take off. She sure hoped he wouldn't. For one it would mean that later on she would feel the need to apologize to him for Kelsi's behavior, and thus she would have to be alone with him. Which was definitely not a good idea for her. She didn't know how to act around Vlad, and she didn't want to suggest anything. Two would mean that Kelsi would throw a fit because she couldn't continue taunting him about being her dinner. Two voices then entered and interrupted her thoughts. 'You're a freak. Was one from Otto, which made her giggle slightly, and the other came from Artemis. "Would you all mind if I dragged Kelsi away? It's time for the scientists to check her out," he said, "She's been having furball problems."
Kelsi gasped. "I-i-i-i aaam not!" she exclaimed, running forward to pull Spike by his shirt collar. Dakota muffled a laugh at how horrified her best friend looked. "They just, uhh, need to check up on me!" she exclaimed, dragging a laughing Artemis away by his shirt collar. He shrugged when Kota looked at him. She looked back at the other two boys awkwardly. She looked at Otto, at a loss for words. "My friends are not weird, they're just... different is all. Kels is a tad eccentric, and Artemis is very quiet," she said finally, thinking she had chosen the right words. Then suddenly her cheeks went pink as she realized she hadn't explained Vlad. Did that mean she didn't think of him as a friend? She rubbed the back of her neck slightly, trying to think of something to say and not coming up with anything. "Oh Vlad, stop posing!"
(so bad D: im sorry, next will be better!)
