Thomas's eyes narrowed at the women's yells. She was a literal raving lunatic at the moment, Angelynn - in his house? It wouldn't happen in a million years! But she was in fact in his house - somewhere hiding, away from her crazy aunt. He was about to talk, actually yell would be the better term seeing as he would need to get his voice over Angel's aunts, but then the women grabbed his shirt collar, and pulled his face down so it was only inches away from hers. 'If you hiding that damned girl here, you and the rest of your stupid Nobles will be severely punished for such behavior!!' She then pushed his away, his back slamming into the wall. 'Damn! That women is strong (>.<)' he thought as he rubbed the sides of his neck. His thoughts didn't last long though before he heard Christie squeak softly as she jumped out of the way. His eyes darted toward Angelynn's aunt, watching as she threw around papers. Frustration began to overcome him, and his eyes narrowed more at the Superior. Howell then swiftly walked up to her, putting himself inbetween her and Christie - and not to mention in front of his parents' bedroom. "Sorry no acces, Now the the hell out of my house!" he yelled, his blue eyes like little fireballs. "Before we call the damn cops!" Christie piped in behind him, this time being one of those odd moments where she swears, or at least doesn't swear well. The platinum blonde rarely used the word 'damned' or any swear word ranging under that, she usually went for the larger, more hurtful words - it was odd to see her use the simple word 'damn'. Tom glanced behind his shoulder at her, raising an eyebrow slightly, but only recieved a small shrug. His gaze flickered back to Catherine, who looked ready to blow. He rolled his eyes a bit, and then grabbed her shoulders, spun her around and then - literally - pushed her out the front door. "I'd advice you next time to not break and enter, because believe me - the police will be called," he said as a very lousy threat. Then he smirked lightly, and slammed the door. He quickly waved his hand over a small panel, and if you listened you could hear little mechanical gears moving and turning, in normal tense it means its closing about six locks inside the door so it can't be opened with a key. If you tried forcing it open an alarm went off in the house, not to mention the fact that the police cheif that was currently on shift was paged and their cars programmed to automatically come to the Howell's house. Oh the wonders of having a father who owned the largest car company in the world. The blonde boy then turned back around, only to see a Christiania right up in his face - literally, their noses were almost touching and he could feel her strawberry scented breath on his face. "Oh, that damned women almost ruined our evening, didn't she?" Without waiting for an answer the Alpha Gamma Noble leaned up only an inch further and kissed her boyfriend. Tom relaxed a bit, and then Chris pulled away. Her eyes were sparkling, and she had a smile on her face - mimicing his own smirk perfectly. "So boy, we going to this premeire or not?" she asked as she began backing away toward the kitchen doors. "You still wanna go?" he asked, raising an eyebrow once more. This brought giggles from Christi. "Of course silly! Under one condition though..." She said, still backing away toward the door. Howell waited a minute, before finally giving and asking; "Which is..." This only brought some more giggles, and a widening grin from the girl. Then she spoke one simple sentence. "I drive!" Now, this comment brought a whole lot more reaction. The first was a groan from Tom, the next would of course be Christi bolting backwards and through the kitchen, grabbing Thomas's car keys on the way. The Aplha boy rolled his eyes, sprinting after Chris. As he exited the house though, it wasn't a matter of 'get the keys away from Christi', it was more of a 'get in the damn car', seeing as the girl had already started it and was beginning to pull out of the drive. He ran after her, watching as she burst into a fit of giggles. Luckily for him, Chris was nice enough to open the door for him - that or she just pressed the wrong button while trying to put the hood down, which she also accomplished after a few tries. He got to the car in time though, and slipped into the seat - moving just fast enough to get in before the door shut. His eyes then looked to Christie, an amused look dancing across his face. "So, oh mighty driver, this car'll get us there is in 30 minutes, the premier starts in six hours. What do you say about that?" She smiled as she backed out, and then revved the car engine so it moved only inches - but gave out a huge sound. "Well, I thought we'd make a few pit stops along the way, you don't honestly think I'd wear jeans and a tank top to the biggest premiere known to man did you? Silly boy!" she said as the top of the car slowly pulled back until there was no longer a roof. She then turned in her seat to face the road, and hit the gas pedal - hard. The car flew forward at about two hundred miles an hour, instantly, but it would get faster, and the funny part? Neither of them were wearing seat belts. Eleven hours later it was night, no surprise. No street lights were lit, seeing as most were burned out or the city just didn't want to turn them on - more than likely some Noble freshman has cut the wires to the lighting system. In other words, it was dark - very dark, even the city's lights with everyone in bed. Oh, the time? Two AM of course. Nothing was stirring, because it was true the streets weren't exactly safe at night - but the area wasn't the backlots or alleys, it was in the middle of Superior territory as a matter of fact. A black car crept through the streets, with its lights on dim. Yes, in fact it was a Porsche Guardian - definately Tom's car. The blonde Noble was alone in the car, sans Christie. He had already dropped her off at her house, seeing as she was literally drunk off her ass at the moment. She had talked it up at the premiere, mostly to the people starring in the movie, and in the process has sipped one too many cosmos. Which was ironic, seeing as she was about six years under the drinking limit - like it mattered anymore though. He scowled slightly, leave it to Chris to get drunk under the age limit. Tom rolled his eyes, still creeping along the road. Why was he going so slow you ask? Because he didn't want to wake anyone up. His car's engine may be fast, but it was also incredibly loud and irritating to most people - so he kept it going slow and only purring gently. He sighed to himself, another late night, at least it was Friday Night, no wait - Saturday Morning actually. He sighed again, glad when the car finally pulled into the driveway. He shut ip off, practically hopping out of the driver's seat and walking out of the garage. As his foot passed the stone slab that seperated the garage from the drivaeway the door immediately shut - bringing a slight smile in knowin it was one less thing he had to do. Howell then walked to the front door, just opening it like her knew it would - from the touch of his fingers it registered that it was Thomas Howell, and thus it opened for the resident of the home. Tom slammed the door behind him - it automatically closed, don't you just love technology? - he then walked to his room and changed into a pair of worn jeans and a black t-shirt, much better then the tuxedo that Christie had pushed him into for the premiere. His blue eyes darted to a mirror, taking in his appearance. He still looked 'groomed' and proper from the gathering. He growled lightly and then ran his hand through his somewhat shaggy hair, and shaking it a bit. Tom had never liked his hair combed back, it always looked to professional for him - and it never suited him the right way. Sure, his life was pretty much layed out for him as some business man, or to his preference lawyer, he'd much rather be a lawyer then run the porsche company and end up like his step father. Tom sighed lightly, but it wasnt really his choice - it was his trophy mothers and his step fathers on what path he was taking, after all they were paying for his college career. He growled again, he still had a year or so to think about this and he was going to use every oppurtunity he had to not think about it. The blonde-haired boy sighed again - he had been doing a lot of that lately - and made his way toward the study that went off of his room, yes he had his own study. He let his hand stoke over Dash's fur, before his baby blues wandered over to the paneling on the far wall. Howell walked over to it, pushing lightly on one part of it and stepping back slightly as it moved away from his touch. It slid back, and revealed an opening - a staircase actually. He started up it, the door closing behind him and shrouding him in utter darkness, but he wasn't afraid; he hadn't been afraid of the dark since he was seven. Plus he had followed this path more often then not, and knew it better then his own bedroom; also not to mention that it was his only sanctuary from his family since the panel only opened for him, DNA programmed censors, lovely invention they were. The top of his hair then brushed against a ceiling, top of the staircase was where he was. He pressed on another censor pad, this one glowing slightly in the darkness; and again a panel opened, but this time it revealed more then a staircase. This time moonlight reflected into the small area, with the stars twinkling in sight clearly. Because of Fairhaven's broken street lamps, and of course the fact that they were in the middle of nowhere and any person in their right mind was asleep right now - you could see the stars clearly along with the moon. Thomas stepped out of the stairwell, the door closing behind him again. Yes, if you were curious - he is standing on the roof. He then walked a little ways down from the doorway, which was imbedded into the back of the house, and thus unable to be seen unless you were directly above it. He jumped out of the little ditch and began walking across the roof. It was normal for him to do this late at night, no one ever saw him anyways. Tom then sighed - again - and sat down, bringing his legs close to his chest, and then resting his arms on them.[/blockquote] thomas michael howell-anderson honey im gonna make it out alive, so kiss me goodbye

Angelynn Beithera[.:Angie, Angel, Angely;;~*]] Trip over love, you can get up again, but fall in love and you can fall forever*~ The day was soon over and both females of the household were comfortable inside the house. Catherine Beithera laid quietly in her bed, watching some calming television while Angelynn kept to her room the whole day. Homework was on her mind of most of the evening, shuffling through her messed up papers from today’s earlier incident. Luckily, they were all in tact and ready to be marked upon then sent back to school next week after the upcoming weekends. A bit of math here, yes; A bit of English and history there. Ugh… Two subjects that Angelynn hated forever always. And a bit of friendly fun science. Thus, homework was over with and the rest of the day, Angelynn had spent walking around her room, reading her book or just staring up at the ceiling upon her bed- of which she was doing now.
Angel’s thoughts had begun with today’s predicament: her Aunt, but there was nothing much to worry about and she grazed past that subject to move upon the thought of tomorrow’s activities during the time away from school. Hopefully, her aunt would be caring enough to leave the house to leave her alone- which was likely due to her current stress level. Once that subject was over with, she continued on with what she would eat, what she would read and what would happen but as night went on, she began to return to the thought of Christie and Thomas. Angelynn could just imagine the Noble girl walking up to her and asking why her aunt had nearly thrashed through the house just looking for her. Hmm… I didn’t do anything. I was at home… One excuse she could use, yet Thomas would surely know the truth and wonder about it soon.
Speaking of Tom… Angelynn glanced at her window, expecting the couple still at the premier but as she looked back at the clock and the visible car in front of the house, she could tell it was pretty late and the premier was probably over. Ahh…Wonder if Auntie didn’t ruin their night for the two. Angie couldn’t help but laugh at the thought, seeing Christie and Thomas still thinking about her vicious Aunt. Yet, knowing the Noble alpha, both of them had probably forgotten about it long ago.
Miss Beithera’s eyes traveled back to Tom’s house, raising an eyebrow slightly as she found that the lights downstairs were off yet something pulled her eyes up to the roof- there she found him sitting by himself. What’s he doing there? She slowly got up and headed toward the door, yet touching the cold, silver knob she was reminded of her Aunt who was probably sleeping right at the moment and rushing to talk to the Noble she detested was not a good excuse to wake her up- temper and all.
Rushing and climbing out of the window, she slowly crept out of the house, finding her way through the shadows over to Thomas’ house. Looking up, she called out to the dark figure sitting quietly. ”Thomas?”
Angelynn’s voice was low and quiet yet she hoped it was enough for him to hear and low enough that she wouldn’t wake the neighborhood. [/blockquote]

He sighed quietly, his eyes beginning to hurt from not blinking for a long time. He didn't want to close them though, he was afraid that the stars would disappear if he closed them. It was a silly fear, but it was what he was afraid of. He had lived in a small town all of his life, but for most of it he was in big cities like New York, or Las Vegas with his social butterfly of a mother who wouldn't dare have her son out of the limelight for more than a month. They had always been traveling, and everywhere they went there were never any stars. Then high school rolled around and he got to spend more time in his hometown, where no lights were lit at night and the stars were shining brightly, with the moon as their accompionment. Nearly every night he came up here, to no one's knowledge of course. His mother was always stoned, his step father drunk and Christi was already dead as a rock by this time of night or home by herself. This had been one of the few nights he hadn't had to sneak around her to get up on the roof, but he was glad it wasn't one. From her obstinance he would've gotten angry, and it would've been such a waste to be frusterated while gazing at the universe's precious gems.
Tom pushed his hair back a bit. It was getting chillier out here, and like the stupid boy he was he hadn't brought a jacket. He was only in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, definately not ideal clothes to be outside in the middle of the night, especially when it was nearing winter. Such a smart boy he was. The blonde haired boy stretched out, letting his legs near the edge of the roofing. He was inside one of the alcoves and thus he was farther down, but at least he was protected from the cold wind that was blowing across Fairhaven. He could see his breath clear enough, something that made him laugh to himself. If he got sick, or frostbite, or something like that his mom would kill him. Not for the hospitol bills or anything, simply because he'd have to take a big step out of all the limelight for a little while. Oh, it would just break poor miss andersons heart.
He once again sighed, something he found himself doing more and more often. Ever since the new year at Fairhaven High had started nothing had been the same. Everything had been more topsy turvy, and he could feel that his relationship with Christiania was starting to break apart, no matter how much either of them didn't want to believe it. They continued to pretend to be the same, because they were - even though something was different. It was odd, because they couldn't find what was different. Everything was exactly the same, or maybe that was the proble entirely! Everything was the same, so it all became boring and unexciting. 'Maybe I should take Chris out to dinner tomorrow night, I think she'd like a stop in France - shes never been out of the country before...' he pondered as his eyes continued to stare. They were now slightly red, and beginning to water from keeping them open for too long. Giving him the appearance that he had been recently crying.
'Thomas?' That voice. He groaned inwardly, inaudible to anyone. Hadn't she given him enough trouble already? Those baby blues looked around in the darkness. The only illumination was the stars and the moon, and that only shed a small amount of light on the scene - but Thomas had incredible eyesight, and quickly found her slim shape in the darkness. She looked slightly afraid to be on the roof, because it was of the height or the fact that if he aunt found her she'd be dead in a heartbeat, he didn't know. He waved slightly, a smile coming to his lips accidentally but he quickly replaced that with a blank expression within seconds. "Hello Angelynn," he said, flicking his wave slightly and putting his hand down. If she wanted to talk, she could come over here - not that there was anything to talk about. It wasn't like she had ruined his evening, or even her aunt - just pestered with it really. Right now if they hadn't had that commotion he could be sound asleep in a hotel room with Christi, or in his own bed sound asleep. But because of the afternoons' events his mind wouldn't shut down, giving him a small headache and the inability to fall asleep.
He put his head in his hands, slightly between his legs. His headache wasn't small actually, it was large from all of Christiania's screaming and rants on the way home. The thirty minute drive had been longer than planned, because of her, and it had been louder as well, because of her. For once in his life he had actually been happy to drop the girl off at her house, something that had never happened before. The silence was unbearable to him. He was used to it, but for some reason silence from a girl he barely knew irked him. With Christi she was always talking, even the younger Noble girls were always chatting away - so he was used to talkative people around him, or silent people he knew really well around him - but never people he didn't know not talking around him. So, he broke the silence. "What are you doing out so late Ang, don't you have a curfew?" It was an actual question and a taunt, more to her and her lack of freedom. He smirked slightly, his headache beginning to recede. WORD COUNT • 971 WORDS NOTES • i rambled on a paragraph about stars -.- [/blockquote] thomas michael howell-anderson honey im gonna make it out alive, so kiss me goodbye

Angelynn gave off a gentle smile as he responded- otherwise thinking that he was still a bit sour about her and her aunt after all the trouble they had caused him if he hadn't replied. He didn't sound very angry and that calmed her twisted nerves. Shoulders quickly relaxing Angie looked up at his shaded figure once again. It was pretty hard to see him in this dim light even if the moon and stars were providing a pretty good source of light, yet, it seemed that her eyes had gotten all to used to this shade of darkness upon nightfall. Besides, Angelynn and her aunt had been living in this small little town for as long as she could remember. She had grown used to all the people around here especially since her aunt was quite popular in both social sides. This gave Angel a big advantage with making friends- which she did fairly quickly and soon enough she had rose through the ranks to take her place as Superior Alpha. Thus, almost everyone knew her well and they all adored her for more reasons than one. Yet in Tom's case, he hadn't really known her even if they were both Alphas of their social status'. Coincidentally, they had met for the first time today at school and that was surprising enough. However, Angelynn had known a bit about him from gossip and such. But often gossip was wrong. Thus she tended not to listen to it or cause any of it.
Angie pondered for a few seconds as she pushed his question aside to solve the main problem: How she would get up to him without waking any of the neighbors. She would much rather talk to him up close than from afar. She fould it rather rude and she hated when people talked to her like that as well- or maybe that was just her ego talking and all. "Hey," She grunted, raising an eyebow; taking the taunting into her arms. "My aunt's probably half-asleep by now. I know she wont mind if I take a little vacation from my room." Smiling, Angie picked her words lightly. She was still pretty unsure if he would welcome her with open arms with all the trouble she had caused him. If he knew any better he would've just sent her away right this second. Hopefully, he had the heart not to.
Searching the side of the house, Angelynn quickly padded over to the trunk of the large oak that grew beside the large house. She glanced at it for a moment. It looked pretty sturdy with its thick trunk and outstreatched branches. Because of this, it looked quite old. Luckily, it was the perfect height, just toppling over the rooftop with an outstreatched branch leading the way next to Tom. Taking quick hold of the sides, Angely began her acend upward. Her eyes glanced back and forth as she made sure to pick her way through the maze of twisting branches and leaves. Still in her school uniform, she wasn't intent on finding a new hole or scratch on it tomorrow morning. That would be just terrible and being a girl, looks meant a lot when confronting guys and friends. Unfortunately, dodging the prickly branches were quite difficult and it took all of her struggling to finally get through the first half of the tree without a scratch. Oddly enough, the leaves of this old oak tree was still pretty green. It held a gentle glow under the moonlight- shining in all its emerald glory. It must be the only tree within miles to still have bright green leaves for it was nearly the beginning of autumn and little Fairheaven didn't have very rich soil at all. To her surprise, this tree was growing quite healthily and it made her wonder if Thomas had anything to do with its growth or if it just grew that way from a miracle. Either way, it was a beautiful tree with its hard prickly bark and long outstreatched branches along with its still moist green leaves. However, Angelynn still had a bit trouble climbing it. Like a staircase to heaven, it twisted and turned from side to side and from time to time Angie was slighly worried that she would slip and fall. Luckily, each time that feeling came around, she would always steady herself with a branch or by wrapping her arms and legs around the thick trunk. Soon enough, she had reached the top, brushing leaves and twings out of her hair before sitting down next to Tom, making sure she wasn't all to close- for precaution of course.
Yet, as she looked onto his more detailed apperance, she found his eyes slightly reddened and strangely, she felt a pang of concern hit her, just like the time she had pushed him down to show off to her Superior friends. And thus, she couldn't help but ask, "Oh! What happened to your eyes? Are you ok?" Once again, her mind trailed back to the thought that all went terribly wrong with the premier and Christi had been so flustered by Angelynn's aunt that their whole entire night was ruined. Oh please don't be because of that. She would surely punish herself for going with Tom in the first place and resentment would be fired toward her Aunt for doing what she had done. Her eyes widened in worry as she struggled to keep her hands down upon her lap- preventing them from reaching forth and cupping Tom's face to look at his eyes closer. He must've been crying... It was the only logical explination for what happened to Toma nd why he was up on this roof on the first place. Oh please no... She hoped once again with that familiar churning feeling in her gut.
Ooc.// Eh... Ill ramble about the height on my next post. xP And no fancy name stuff at the top today. >.> Dang slow compy. xD

Tom yawned slightly. He was definitely tired, since he had been up since what? Six in the morning, and it was now sometime early Saturday morning, easily. Saturday... His parents would be home after noon. Oh how happy they would be, coming home to find the house a mess and him sound asleep in his room. They'd just be simply ecstatic. Yes, and he'd be in for so much fun when he woke up, or shall we say was woken up ever so sweetly by his loving step father. Oh yeah, right. Like that would ever happen. His parents would come home, scream, and he'd get into trouble, go away for a few days until they left again, and then he'd be back. It was like that. His parents came, he left, he came, his parents left. It was a nice thing that they had going, something that would bring peace to almost everyone in the house. Sure it was a little hard on his mom, but once his 'dad' got her another piece of jewelry she was completely fine with her sons disappearances. It had worked that way since he got his driver's permit, and was legally allowed to drive by himself. Before that Tom would just run away, and come back a few days later. He had been left alone for so long he was perfectly used to it. Besides, he had always had Christiania, since the end of eighth grade she had been by his side nearly every day. Someone couldn't go to see Thomas or Christi without the other one.
But when he couldn't be with Christi, he went on the roof. Yes, on the roof. It was so peaceful, so quiet. Nobody ever bothered him - well, almost never, tonight was definitely an exception. Angelynn had bombarded him - yes, that's an exaggeration but still. He was usually all alone up here, and one day - one day of talking with her and now she's suddenly up on his roof with him. See, this is exactly the reason Tom didn't talk to others. You say one word to them and they walk all over you. You feel sorry for them then - like the hiding her in his house thing - the tolerating her, like now thing. Poor Thomas, a few simple words and it seemed he was best friends with Angie, which, he would make sure of, never happened. Because well, his best friends were no one really, only Christi if you could count her, since the other male nobles all thought he was unfit for the Alpha position, living in Superior's part of town and what not, but was it really his fault that his noble mother had married a Superior man? No, so why should he be blamed for it? He was anyways, whether it was fair or not.
His eyes? Oh, they must be red by now. He'd been up for so long, and not to mention the alcohol intake, the rubbing of the eyes and so on. He probably looked almost like a walking zombie. Well, at least a walking zombie with a sweet smile and awesome hair. Yes, his eyes were red and she was, what, worried about him? Aw, how touching. He had a Superior girl worried about him. Oh, how Christi would just be overjoyed if she knew. She was already still a bit - well she was before she was dead drunk - angry at him because of what Ang's aunt had said. She had almost believed the old hag, and well, Tom didn't need that kind of stress. To have Christi go away wouldn't be an entirely bad thing, but it also wouldn't be good, not good in the least. Her going away would mean him not having her anymore - obviously, and he didn't want to handle that. If Christiania went away then he would be left, alone, with his cat. Yes, with his cat. Since Christi was the only Noble who talked to him at his house, he would loose most of his contact with the Nobles outside of school. Whoopdeedoo, they would probably all hold a party, and then deem him a regular male Noble, because he couldn't be around the others as much as needed, and then they would hold another party because he wasn't an Alpha anymore. And would he get invited to either one of the parties? Of course no, even though both of the parties would be in his honor. Nobles could be so rude sometimes.
"Eh, I'm fine. Just tired," he told her, his eyes still looking at the stars. Stars were his favorite thing. He could just get lost in them. The twinkling, the glittering, the sparkling. They were just so magnificent. So very, very magnificent. Mostly while he was out on the roof he thought, about what? Well, everything mostly. While on the roof he was free, free from the town, free from any bonds he might have outside of the roof. He could think what he wanted, and say what he wanted - even though he said it off the roof anyways, - and he could also just be himself. The stars also intrigued him. How something that looked so very small, so very natural, so very close; good be millions and millions of miles away. He had read somewhere, since that's pretty much all he did in his spare time - read, was that not a single star was even in the Earth's solar system. It was amazing to think how far the stars were really away, and to think of how many times you would have to go across the earth just to have walked that far. He sighed lightly, blinking his eyes to try and make them normal once more - which probably wasn't going to happen but was worth a chance anyways. Then he finally spoke. "So, Angelynn's getting soft? Willing coming over to a Nobles house and asking him if he's alright," he said smirking slightly. He was nice - most of the time, but it always did help to have something to use against someone, and this could be technically used against the little Superior queen, since well, she'd be kicked out if anyone caught her talking to him - even better, that it wasn't exactly vice versa. Nobles had learned not to care when Tom spoke to Superiors. [/blockquote] thomas michael howell-anderson honey im gonna make it out alive, so kiss me goodbye

Angelynn opened her mouth ready to bring out a firm retort- something that she would regularly do- before today at least. However, because of this very day, she shut her mouth and turned her head away as if hurt by some strong invisible force. Exactly! There was something quite unique about this day that had caused the Superior Alpha to fall and crumble, just as the Noble male had recently commented upon right now. She wasn’t herself anymore. Definitely not. Angie was nothing like this sniveling little creature a few days ago and why should she now? Stupid Noble. I’m not going soft. And I could just prove it if- Her usual arrogant thoughts were immediately diminished as she began to think of the damage and trouble she had caused for Tom and Christi. She just couldn’t bring herself to forgiving herself for it.
”Forgive me, Thomas. If you want me to leave, I can.” She took a deep breath. ”I’m not like myself anymore.” She closed her and quickly buried her face into her folded arms, hair falling over shoulders and knees. At his command, she would leave for sure. Maybe tomorrow she could gather herself up again during the weekend- just hanging out with friends and shopping a bit like a girl should. Or maybe take a little downtime in her room, reading the many books she had bought days before that she hadn’t read in a while now.
However, it really was pretty quiet up here, other than Thomas and her of course. They were so high up and the air was so peaceful- undisturbed from the cars that ran the streets and the strong winds caused by the many man-made wind tunnels. It seemed like nothing could disrupt them but the stars in the sky and the tiling upon the roof. No wonder this Noble was up here at this very night. Yet, as Angelynn continued to think about it, more heavy pounds of guilt began piling upon her shoulders once again. She was probably disrupting this peace for him right now.

The boy blinked his light blue eyes. She was actually thinking about her retort? Interesting. Superiors were known for their extremely fast comebacks to rude comments and other things similar to that. Tom leaned back, so instead of just looking forward he was more looking up then before. Also know he could look over at Angelynn if he wanted, more easily then when he was sitting the other way. And he took the chance to look at her face, and try to think of what might be running through her mind. She seemed... Well distressed really. So the might Alpha was in fact getting soft. Was it all his fault? More than likely it was, he was good for that, talking to the other 'war' people from the other side, and then they suddenly change for no apparent reason. Maybe it was his smooth charm? But it was probably his down-to-earth, whatever type of personality that made them realize that Nobles - well some of them at least - weren't all that bad. Again he blinked his eyes, watching her facial expressions as she thought. Now he was curious, what was she thinking about?
"So, Miss Ang is really in fact getting softer, no sharp retort for me to reply to - how sad," he said, an obvious smile on his face. He was joking around of course, like he always did. Thomas never took anything really serious, and that was mostly how he got by in life. He didn't even take people seriously, not at all in fact. It usually made many people mad, including his teachers. He never took class seriously at all and it really torqued a few of them, especially he ones he didn't see daily. Tom smiled, his blue eyes again looking at her face. "Don't leave, well leave if you want I suppose," he said, looking back up at the stars. He was actually craving a little bit of socialised company before his parents came home and he'd have to go hide out somewhere. More than likely he'd just stay in the secret areas of the house that his parents didn't know about, since Christi's father was also coming back tomorrow, and hated him intensely. Her mother was fine with him, her father would like to see a stake driven through his heart. So that was a no to hiding out at Chris's, meaning that he would be stuck with his uncivil parents for the weekend, possibly longer even if they couldn't find something else to go to. "How often are you alone?" he asked randomly. He was always alone, despite Christi always being their. He didn't count his parents as company, more like an attachment to the house. Then his 'friends' wouldn't dare step a single foot into Superior territory, because of their paranoid thought that they'd be like, killed or hurt on the spot. Yes, Nobles were true idiots - same with Sups, but well, no one really ever came to keep him company. The only company he ever had was Dash in fact, and she was a cat. But Angelynn... She always had someone around. Her aunt was always practically stalking her, or she had on of her Superior friends with her. How often was she truly alone? It seemed like never. Wanting his question answered to curb his curiosity, he looked at her again, his blue eyes staring at her. [/blockquote]

Miss Beithera slowly lifted her gaze, her eyes now nearly as red as his from trying to suppress a flow of tears. As he mocked her even more, she couldn’t let her pride sink down anymore than it has already. She was ready to get up yet he had continued the conversation- so of course, she couldn’t just leave now could she? Angelynn took a steady breath before replying in a moderate tone. ”Well, Only when my aunt leaves town- which isn’t always, but it’s enough to have a lot of time to myself.” She said with a nod, turning her glittering gaze toward him. ”You’re alone a lot aren’t you? I never seen your parents home and Auntie is quite relieved to not see that ‘flea-bitten’ mother of yours.” Angel couldn’t suppress a gentle laugh. Her aunt often did that, making up different horrid nick-names and descriptions for people she didn’t really know. Angie always played along, laughing and doing the same whenever that person came walking by, but for some reason, now was the only time she began to realize how cruel and terrible her aunt’s comments really were. This silenced her as she diverted her gaze to the stars.
Maybe Angelynn had it all wrong. She didn’t deserve the right to be an alpha of the Superiors and she wasn’t happy about it either. She had only reached that rank by making fun of each little Noble along with the help of Catherine Beithera who didn’t mind helping her niece out with the crowd. Angelynn learned everything from that 46 year old legend who had earned her rank in the Superior hall of fame for sure. Angel had learned the to do’s and what not to do’s of the streets. And nothing in Aunt Catherine’s allowed Superiors to talk to Nobles- unless of course, they were mocking them. Yet, here Angelynn was, defying her aunt’s usual rules, on a roof top talking to a Noble and for the first time, she wasn’t taking control and teasing or making fun of him. She was actually the one who was surrendering to the comments. I am going soft… She thought, remembering Tom’s words.
But she just couldn’t let the school know it. By the time Monday comes around, Angelynn would have to gather herself once again and go back to her usual godess-like attitude that she held firmly above her people- the Superiors. And this meeting with Thomas, it would have to be kept on the down-low or else it would immediately spread through out the school and it would change… shifting into things like: ”Oh they’re going out! Oh they’re getting married! Oh, Angelynn and Thomas- You two sunk low…” Angelynn wince mentally, not wanting anything like that to happen. She had never experienced anything like that for her life had been simple. Her aunt got her to the high ranks and held her there with support and advice that helped her keep that position. Angie nearly owed everything to her aunt, yet now… she was beginning to think for herself.
As the night grew onward, the cold chill began to travel through her coat to her bones and she couldn’t help but shiver as she looked on to the stars. They were beautiful tonight and the sky was so clear. Apart from the tree she had used to get up here, nothing blocked the clear dark blue sky. The stars shined oh so bright and twinkled as they did every night. This sight made her smile for it was a rare sight that she rarely got to see. Angelynn was always kept in her room or with her aunt in the big city where stars like these were never seen. So like a child who had never seen the clear sight of a beautiful night before, she kept her eyes wide open in curiosity. She even for a moment considered counting them all yet as she began, she realized how many there really were- way too much for she alone to count. Her eyes however, soon grew tired from keeping open and she moved her gaze back down onto Thomas and like before, she tried reading his expression to see what he was going to do next. Yet it was nearly impossible. The only thing she could easily seek out upon his face and expression would be the shine off his cheeks from the stars above and the same reflection in his eyes- which of course had lessened in it’s red color like her own.

He looked at her face. All red and puffy. It looked horrible. And it was all his fault. He made her cry, well at least he was part of the reason even if she hadn't actually been crying. It could have been from stress, or from just rubbing her eyes or keeping them open for too long at a time. Tom sighed lightly, his gaze drifting off of the Superior Alpha, looking back at the sky as he thought. He was always horrible at talking to someone while he was looking at them, that's why he usually thought of what he was going to say before they expected him to say it or while the other person was talking, so he could confidently respond without having a long lapse of time or having to loose eye contact with the person. He lost his words when he looked at somebody, one of the reasons why he always looked like he was daydreaming, or distant from everyone else. He stared at the stars, listening to her answer to his alone question. So her aunt was always home? That was just wrong. He liked being alone, and couldn't imagine what it would be like to always have an adult around.
He short her a glance for a moment when she spoke about his mom, before his gaze flickered back to the sky. Flea-bitten mother? No, never. She might not have chosen the best husband the second time, but still, she was a good women. Sure she was a Noble - like he was, and had married a Superior. But at least she was different, stepping out of the bounds and marrying someone she loved. He admired her a bit for that, for being able to step away from her peers and marry her enemy for life. Besides, flea-bitten, his mother? She had blond hair, like Christinia's, and dark brown eyes. She was a lovable person, yes Kendra Anderson was just an amiable person, and she always made the room calm down. Still, some of the rude Superior-ness had rubbed off on her, and because of his 'fathers' influence she drank more and had a temper. Though by now most of the Superiors counted Kendra as one of their own, no matter how deep their hatreds had gone. But now that he thought about it Kendra and Angelynn's aunt had been rivals while they were in high school , and old rivalries died hard.
Tom sighed gently, letting his eyes watch a star falling away from the rest. He leaned back, placing one arm behind his head and he laid down onto the roof, still watching the star breaking away from it's comrades - kinda like what he had done when his mother moved them over onto Superior territory. he had grown apart from his friends and had broken away from everyone else, beginning to talk to more and more Superiors. He had made fast friends with the Alphas who were in high school, even while he was still in grade school and they were so close to graduating. They had accepted him into their society and had probably expected him to become a Superior once he reached high school, what a surprise for them! He had stayed a Noble, and about a month into high school he had become an Alpha after playing a nasty prank on the Superiors that effected almost all of them. He had been up'd in rank and he hadn't even stopped talking to the now-graduates of the high school, they didn't care what he did, even if he couldn't make friends with the current Alphas and Betas of the Superiors at least he was in the 'in' crowd outside of high school. It didn't matter to him at all though, he ignored the war now, just living his life like he would if he hadn't been involved in this stupid 'gang' war as some called it.
"Yeah, I guess I'm alone a lot," he said, still watching the sky. " I can't even imagine having someone around all of the time, it would drive me insane! How do you handle it?" He was of course referring to her aunt. He really couldn't fathom ever being around someone night and day. He could stand Christi popping up here and there throughout the day, always seeming to be there when he needed company. But she left him alone when he wanted to be alone - something he had always loved about the blonde-haired Alpha, she always knew when Tom wanted to be alone and just think. Usually this was at night, now, but for some reason he didn't really mind Angie being there next to him. Sure she was taking up his precious alone time before his parents came back in a few hours, but he liked to talk as well so it wasn't all so bad. He could have a normal conversation with someone, something he could never do with most people. Since a lot either completely adored him, hated him, or didn't give a damn of what he was talking about. So yeah, he didn't really mind her being there right then. Weird right? The boy who loved no company actually enjoying talking to someone, and the enemy nonetheless - totally crazy. On so many levels. But, well, the past few days had been crazy hadn't they? Why not continue the pattern. [/blockquote]

Angelynn gave a light giggle shrugging her shoulders in a calm fashion. ”I dunno.” She murmured, leaning back with her hands placed firmly behind her, to prop her up. ”Auntie always watches out for me but I’m usually in my room where she can’t get me. So… I guess, I just kind of ignore her when I wanna be alone.” True, Angie Beithera was always cooped up in her room- a place where she could never be bothered; separated only by a white wooden door from the cruel outside world. In her sanctuary of her own room, she could just jump around like an idiot if she felt like it, or bounce up and down upon her bed without a care in the world. She could unravel her true personality without anybody else’s consult. Angelynn barely invited anyone into her room, including Catherine Beithera. Even she could not step foot into Angeel’s room without proper signing of a document and her sole permission. Angelynn’s room was seriously that precious to be kept to only she and herself. It was kind of like her rooftop like Thomas, yet different in many ways possible.
However, Angelynn could never be in her room all day so of course she would have to come out of her cave sometime and thus, she would find her aunt either glaring or staring at her depending on her oh so, unstable mood. But, her company wasn’t all bad. This head-strong Superior, apart from her fierce outer shell, she is pretty sweet- especially to her niece. Angelynn somewhat enjoyed her aunt’s company, seeing that she knew everyone in town and everyone seemed to respect her which made Catherine Beithera quite the character to look up too. She treated Angelynn like a mother- the mother she never had. So her temper, Angie tolerated with a smile. Besides, without her aunt, she wouldn’t be an alpha if she hadn’t lived and been left with her aunt, she probably would have been taken to an orphanage and never would she have lived so gloriously. Yet, a feeling inside of her told her that maybe if she had ended up in the orphanage, she would have been a completely different person. Someone who didn’t crush people below her to become the great person that everyone respected to this day. She would actually be normal and although most of the wonderful perks and such wouldn’t be available to her, Angelynn wouldn’t mind. She could actually walk down the streets without having to consider what people thought of her and without the thought hanging over her head that she had to act cool and content to stay an alpha. She could actually act truly like herself- the person that always creeps out from the shadows in the safety of her own room. Yet, it was too late now. She was who she was, but her soul was crumbling. It was unstable seeing that she was actually here with a Noble and actually getting along today. Maybe now her personality could truly uncover itself, yet would Thomas accept her still? It seemed to be working. Angelynn wasn’t screaming at him or harming him. She was being her usual self: happy, calm and curious. Maybe. Just maybe.
”Being alone…” She murmured as she layed her chin upon her knees once again. ”Even if I have Auntie by my side all the time… I still feel very alone… And… it isn’t the kind of alone that you actually need when you spend so much time around people… It is the kind of alone that creeps upon your soul like a monster, ready to grasp you and shake you up until no life is left… It is the kind of alone that no one wants to feel….” Miss Beithera took in a shallow in-take of breath as she struggled to keep herself from crying once again.
It was true. Being alone… there was a lot of meanings of being alone. One would be the kind of physical alone- the kind that Tom always is. Yet there is also a mental kind of alone. The feeling that you have no one to fall back upon when you need something important or the lack of people to trust. And there were more too and Angelynn definitely understood them all. Some she would rather have than others, but like a random pick of a jellybean, she didn’t know which one she would have to deal with. Unfortunately, this certain type of loneliness wasn’t what she was expecting but it was what she was born with and she learned to deal with it.
