You heard about them, Jay Sankey, The Amazing Johnathan Criss Angel,Harry Anderson, David Blaine, Derren Brown, David Copperfield, Houdini, Kreskin, Andrew Mayne, Richard Osterlind, Penn & Teller, and Presto. All famous magicians, or illusionist. Thats what we are, carefully laying done a web of lies, to make everyone happy, to pretend we live a normal life. Normal though, is something we are not. Night and Day, we weave our threads. Casting magic of poor watchers. But they can't know the truth, what we really are. It would ruin everything.
Thomas Jr, the first of our kind. The kindest of the bunch never to judge us on our magic, but then of course he was one of us. He created this school, Thomas Academy, a school for artist of all kinds. A school that makes us seem normal, like we didn't have powers. A school for magicians a like. But we all have one thing in common, we aren't normal.
We have this power inside of us, what Thomas Jr likes to call an Essence. It takes a color, a color that best fights us, then gives us special powers. Powers like flight, or to control the elements. Thomas Jr can detect lies, his essence color is white. But what about us, the students of this school, how do you act. Like normal.
Woot Magic school time. No level needed, no bio, just in your first post be sure to say your essence color, and you gender, name , age, and power!

A sigh escaped her, as she twidled a pencil between her fingers. The pencil was wrapped in her bangs as well, a slight mistake as she wasn't paying attention. Her hair? Well it was a light brown color, with natural honey streaks in it. Currently it was tied up tight upon the top of her head, with only a few stray streaks falling across her face, framing it. In front of her, on the desk was a sketchpad, and one there was currently a drawing in progess - next to that there were a few pencils and different colored pencils. She sighed again. Untangling the pencil, she finished her drawing. It was of a cat of course, her favorite animal. But it was plain, just white with no eye color or blush or anything other then white and black. She tapped the pencil on her cheek, before placing it down and gently touching the black pen with her forefinger. Where she pressed the pen glowed a faint purple color, before the pen suddenly stood up. Ally - the girls name, a nickname for her full name of Alexandra. A soft smile came to her face, before the pen began to speak. Where the cap connected with the pen, a mouth appeared, and above that two eyes. Odd eyes of course, but it was a pen. "What color should she be?"
Ally asked simply, and the pen looked like it was actually thinking, before it squeaked of course. 'Grey!' She smiled again, then picked up the grey pencil and began to fill it in. She continued to draw and color in the cat. Detailing and such, fur lines, even giving it a bow! Five minutes later. Yes, Alex was in fact a very quick drawer. It was one of her favorite talents, even though it wasn't all that magical. It wasn't a magic talent, just a talent she had. Well, she could make her drawings magical, even though they weren't yet. She put the pen tool down and took a look at her drawing. It was a grey and white, longhaired tabby, with long whiskers and a bright pink bow. It looked almost lifelike, in fact it was life like. Again, one of her many talents - making her drawings look like they could just walk off of the page. Well, they could if she wanted them to. Her ability? Bringing inanimate objects to life. She could make a salad talk, a pen dance, or a drawing walk off of the page. She had a rare talent, and she loved it to death. She was never alone! She could always summon up a friend whenever she liked! Ally sighed, touching her finger lightly to the cat's chest. The drawing glowed - again a light purple - and then literally stepped off of the page, leaving only a faint outline on the piece of paper where it had just been. She grinned now, as she watched the kitten toss the inanimate pencils around. Soon she got bored, so the kitten went after the talking pen. Ally began laughing quietly, before the kitten batted the pen to the ground, that's when she really began to go into a fit of laughter. Across the room the kitten chased the pen, glowing a purple everytime it pounced. She continued to laugh, her laughter growing louder with each moment. ( AKA, its loud xD ) [/blockquote]

He scratched his head, then let out a little sigh, then stop. It was too hard to think and walk at the same time. Took way to much energy. So he decide to stop, and stand in a hallway doing nothing really. He scratched his black hair, a bed head he was natural, black straight hair, with tips of bright blue. It matched his pale blue eyes, and his peachy skin. His parents always called him a work of art. And they still do at the matter, anytime they see a picture of him. A natural piece of work. His mom almost made him go into modeling one day. Matt let out another sigh. Who needs to think right? So he continued his trip down the hall way.
He clapped his hands to himself, with every clap gray sparks came out of his hands, or where the hands meet. In that small area of space enclosed by his hands. He clap one last time, keep his hands together, then let then fall apart. Grey mist first, then it start to dissolve, and soon a form appeared. A beautiful dove floated up to the ceiling, then down to his shoulders. Tyler was about to do another trick, before he heard laughter coming from a near by room. "Ally." he muttered to himself at once. He could pick out her laugh from any where.
He found the room, and opened the door. She might have noticed him, if she wasn't in a fit of laughter. He couldn't help smiling at the site though. A cat the looked as if it was drawn was dancing with a floating pen. It made his little dove-that sat perched on his shoulder-boring. "What are you up to." Tyler said walking up behind her, and putting his hands on to her shoulders. He put on one of his best smiles, a picture is worth a thousands words right?

Ally continued to laugh, watching her little cat prance around the floor, making little purple mist clouds every time she pounced or jumped somewhere, same with the pen. She hadn't heard Tyler walk in, and didn't even know he was there until he spoke and she felt his hands on her shoulders. Her laughing died down slightly, as she leaned her head back, resting it on the back of the chair. She smiled again, her blue eyes looking up at his face - drifting slightly over to the dove. Another made animal of his. He was always good for that, one of the ones who was actually a prodigy of why the school was started. The actual 'magicians'. He could move his hands, and things could appear, anything really - while Ally couldn't really show off her talent unless it was on strings and looked like a puppet. Well, perhaps she could be a vantriliquest, but that didn't seem so appealing. Her pale blue eyes drifted back to his face, smiling slightly. "Eh, just the usual. Bored off my gored and drawing something up," she said, leaning back up into the chair. "The kitten actually looks real this time, doesn't it?" She shifted her legs, so she was leaning against one side of the chair know watching the kitten play with interest. The bow was a little off, and the tail was too short, making her stumble this way and that. Well, it almost looked real at least. She spun the chair around, forcing his arms back to his side as she faced him. "So, what have you been up too mister?" she asked. Alex was always doing the same thing. Drawing and making her drawings come to life. It's how her teacher told her to. Since she couldn't completely control her power, she needed to practice focusing on making things come to life, not to mention making them stay alive. That was another problem. She could only keep the inanimate things alive for so long at a time, before they fell back to what they were and became either normal pens, or just a piece of paper lying on the ground. This had been as long as she was able to keep it up. A week ago this time the kitten would just be a piece of paper, and the pen would be rolling across the floor by now, going down the slope toward the door. Alexandra took her gaze from the kitten, looking back at Tyler as she spun back and forth in the chair. "Anything new lately?" she asked, still spinning in the chair.[/blockquote]

Tyler let out a soft chuckle, as he let his arms drift down to his side. The dove let out a tweet or two before flapping off his shoulder and onto the nearest wooden surface, aka right next to the cat. "I think my bird has mistook it for a cat." he said with another chuckle as he turned his gaze towards the cat. The bird was flapping wildly at the cat, trying to scare it off. Such a courageous bird, trying to scare off a cat. But yet it tried anyways. "I never understand my birds." he commented turning back to face Alley.
She wasn't lifting her head up to look at him, she was spinning around in her chair, back and forth, back and forth. He watched carefully with his eyes. A small still on his face. He clapped his hands once, gray sparks once again, but within a second he held a rose. A red rose, with fresh dew drops on it. He held it to her face, "Do you need to ask." he teased her. One thing about them, they were very similar. Always practicing their magic. Always trying to perfected it, make it better, anything to make it seem more real. Even though Tyler might be one of the only students not having to hide his magic, he still practiced it every day. There was no why he would fail, no way at all.
"I just love magic." he said to her, pushing himself to the ground. "I love the feeling of accomplishment, of doing something no normal person could. " He nodded his head, sending a couple stands of black hair over his eyes. He was close with Alley, she was one of the only people he could speak freely too, or at least in his opinion. "Makes me feel different. Then when I ace my magic test, I feel good, like I could do anything." He shrugged at the last statement. He was one of the highest scores here.

She stopped, since she was getting slightly dizzy. It was never good when Alex was dizzy, or sick for that matter. She'd stumble around here and there - and sense she wasn't in her right mind then, anything that was living, which was obviously practically everything, would then come to life! Oh yeah, everybody loved it when the walls began argueing with each other. It was hilarity literally in their own house. Walls talking, doors speaking, glasses yelling, and the worst was food talking. Yes, she'd accidentally cough, or rub her hands together or something else normal like that, and a purple mist would come from her hands. Then it would land on food, and the food would start to talk. That's what everyone wanted right? A burger that yelled at you as you ate it. Let's just say when she got sick not many people ate inside the school. It was the time when people spent their money to eat out.
She blinked her eyes, watching the bird flap around, the kitten slowly becoming more two-d as they spoke. Of course, it couldn't last forever sadly. Her adorable kitten would in a matter of minutes turn back into a piece of paper, a simple drawing which she would store in a drawer with all of her other attempts at trying to make the drawings stay alive forever. "Ah yes, birds are a complicated thing," she said, smiling softly, spinning back just to look at Tyler. "Impossible to draw as well, wings, so not fun," she said, bring her legs up so she was sitting indian-style in the computer chair. She watched Tyler's movements as he clapped, bringing his hands apart to reveal a rose. A beautiful rose actually. Bright red, with dew still clinging to it's petals. She giggled as he put it into her face, and she blowed on it gently, sending the dew drops to fall onto his face, before carefully taking the rose, positioning her fingers so they wouldnt be stuck with a thorn, though clumsy Ally would probably prick her finger sooner or later. Alexandra watched him speak his opinion. It was nice, watching his vent. He didn't talk a lot, to most people at least, so it was like a priveledge that he spoke to her so freely. She blinked, listening to the last comment. 'Like i could do anything...' It was a normal comment for most people, though in Ty's position he could more than likely accomplish anything he wanted to. From determination and because of his powers. Being able to conjure anything he wanted? Yeah, that was a kinda scary thing to think about. She never thought about how powerful people were, especially because well, it scared her sometimes. She didn't want to look at her friends as powerful magic masters, but as her friends- and simply that. "Magic is a wonderful thing, and I bet if you wanted you could do anything you wanted," she said, winking at Tyler. [/blockquote]

"Anything I want?" he repeated, with a sly smile. Wasn't that something he had thought about so many times. He just could never seem to figure out a way to make everything yet nothing. That was the problem, he didn't know everything that he wanted, he really didn't know one thing he wanted. All he knew was that when the time came to want it, he probably would turn it away with his nose stuck up. It bugged him to think about stuff like that, so he always seemed a way to avert his attention.
"What would I do with anything?" he asked her as he quickly stood up. He rubbed one of his frosty blue eyes, and let out a little sigh. he gave her a glance, before turning his attention to the cat. It was becoming less like a real cat, and more like a drawing. No more third dimension in it, almost like it was a piece of paper, running around after a slower pen. his bird had lost interests, and was staring out into the garden below the building. Like a caged bird, wanting to test out it's wings. He flicked a strand on hair out of his face.
"So on a positive note lunch is beginning." he said with a chuckle. As he took a step toward the cat. "It really is cute." he added, turning back to face Alley, clapping his hands in the process. in his hands sat a red bow. An enlarged version of what the cat wore, it's red silk fainting glowing gray. "That was the animals I always wished to be a cat." he said sitting back on the ground again. He gentle tugged on the bow with his fingers, pulling on one end, loosing it up, then tying it tighter. "Nothing is ever expected out of them besides looking cute." Tyler flashed a smile up at Alley, before looking back at the cat."And I can pull of cute."
