Fumble through the Dark...[SL&UP, OPEN]

As we fumble, through the dark...
We manage to find light, to guide us by.
We fight to survive, so we may live, not die...
Our lives may be short, our lives may be long,

though the rest of our pack may laugh, as they hide from us in fear;
we will save them all, for our destiny to us it calls...

In these new, mystical times, where humans leave us alone, no longer eating meat or killing for fear of animals; here the one thing every child looks for in life, is the most dangerous to us... Magic. The magic has been driving creatures crazy. With humans leaving animals alone, the Earth's magic is too strong. It's infuriating poor animals, driving them mad, causing them to use the magic to slaughter others until their own craziness destroys them... And we wolves, suffer most from this. Our bodies are strong, our minds are intelligent, and our spirits are willful. The magic seeks us, posessing our bodies for it's own will. It means no harm, but it can't see that without death, it is too strong for us to hold. Only few of us live with magic and still have sanity; and that is because as unborn pups our mothers got infected by the magic. And even then, the magic causes premature births, or causes our mother to kill us. Only few of us survive, and once we are discovered we are exiled from our packs, because they fear us, don't trust us not to go beserk.

I am one of those exiled wolves, I am one of the 'chosen' as I like to call us. I believe we have a greater purpose, that the few of us who survive will band together, set out on a quest to find the new thing to balance the Earth out, the one true thing more powerful and less harmful then death. I am well aware that the lack of death will probably take most of us as sacrifices, to try to balance out the Earth's power, that only one of us may make it to the item or person we seek, with the rest following in spiritual support from their early graves. But I believe that no matter what, we'd succeed. I believe that we will find the new thing to replace death; as the lack of death is turning magic terrible. I believe it will happen. I believe, we can live.

Alright. That should explain the setting and plot. The random lyrics at the top, are by me. There's a piano song my friend is playing, I don't know if she wrote it or not, but I decided I'd make lyrics to go wit ha plot for an RP. It turned out pretty well. <3 Oh, if you'd like the link to the song, ask me, and I'll ask her for permission.

You all know the basic rules of role-playing, and the rules of the site. (And if you don't, go read them NOW! I'm pretty sure there is a basic role-playing guide along with the site rules.)

Bios are nice, so are intro paragraphs. However, bio people post FIRST. Intro paragraphs come after we decide to start. Now, remember- LIMITED POWER WOLVES. and since this is the EARTH'S magic, elemental or elemental-related powers only. Like telepathically being able to talk to, say, trees. And rocks. So yeah, critical info: name gender age looks; and whether or not you're powered. Not only the magic ones can adventure, you know.
History and personality and 'other' is optional.

Exact age isn't required, but at least some indication of wether your a pup, adolescence, adult or elder IS required. Heck, if you like, use those as your aging ranks. But for those of you who want to, feel free to add 'date of birth' or age in human years, dog years, months, moons... I don't care. Just remember, this is in the future: Old wolves would have a birth date in 2008 or 2009. Or maybe even 4005. I don't know how far into the future the RP is.

Naming rules; be creative. No stupid things like 'fluffy', except maybe as a nickname, or if you were raised by humans. Your char CAN have been raised by humans, btw. Also; try to have names similar to each other. I don't want one character named Rose and another named something like N'zech, or b'fia, which I really hope you stay away from. I like names like 'Stella' and 'Rose' and 'Moon'. =3 OH AND THIS IS IMPORTANT. You can have odd colors, BUT ONLY if you have powers. The magic can make you born looking strange. -nods-

Naturally, I'll be playing the she-wolf speaking the intro/plot. Just because the intro is in first person, does not mean the rp is too. THIRD PERSON ONLY. SERIOUSLY. First person is only good in BOOKS. It's just confusing to people reading the rp. She will be taking charge of the group of wolves going on the quest, keeping them confidant and such, unless she decides someone else is more worthy of leadership. Hmm, now my role-play is starting to sound a bit like the plot of an anime I watched once...

So yeah. I like bios. I don't like putting history or personality in as my characters never seem to follow it.

Oh, and another side note- while this is a semi-literate and up role-play, that does not mean you have to be descriptive if you are using a bio. Intro paragraphs, on the other hand: DETAIL. DETAIL, DETAIL, DETAIL.
