Gains and Losses [Special Announcement by Angel]

Ok, well...

I see Roleplay Heaven has been taking blows along the past few weeks- people going inactive, others leaving and the site just getting plain messed up. This seems like the first time I opened Roleplay Heaven all over again. With school piling up and homework attacking each young roleplayer, not to meantion, soon-to-be writers, we're all going through a rough patch. I've gone through this many times and many sites have done this as well, unless more than half of their roleplaying members are adult. xP However, I think I'mma take this opportunity and this day to actually move my butt and clean the site up a bit- and I know I said this many times before, but I've just eaten a whole warm bowl of Ramen and I'm determined to make something out of this rubble. =3

Thankiee Wdalm for finally bringing me Photoshop which lightened my spirits for sure. ^^ *huggles* And now I can get back to working on the mascot and such.

Thankiee to all our new members who have joined, especially our newest, Jj who appeared after a few members have left. So I am quite happy to see a new face around here. ^^

Now, here are the losses that Roleplay Heaven has taken. I will not delete these members for I treasure them so. Their roleplays will become dormant and I will keep them so when they come back, they can just start them back as they wish. ^^ [but if they are completely gone, I shall have to delete them.] Unfortunately, most who left are staff members, thus, I will have to pull them out of their position and pick a whole new staff just to keep everything fresh. ^^

First of all, Dark- I know you have a lot fo things going on and the internet will always be second when it comes to things that you have to do and I understand it completely. *nods* I cant always get on due to my friends and family so yeah. =3 Also school has been the largest wall that roleplay sites have to pass over. Once the school year passes I'm completely sure that everyone will come into the swing again and we will have one of those wonderful member surges that I am definately looking forward too. ^^ So, hope you come back soon Darkeh. ^^ You are a wonderful roleplayer and I know I speak for everyone when I say that I enjoy each and every roleplay we have. Your roleplay style is adventurous and I could never quite predict when you would add one of you dramatic twists in the story line. lolz! Our roleplay styles are quite different in a number of ways but you always seem to top me with quality and length. xP I mish joo. Pwease come back soon. <3

Next is Dragon- Hope you didn't leave the site for good Dragon... I'm not even sure you even left seeing that you didnt post in the Leaving board but your message in the table does worry me so, thus here it is... You really arent a bad roleplayer Dragon. You aint a bad roleplayer at all. I've always looked up to you ever since we made Roleplay Heaven together with Dark and I always turned to you when coming to roleplaying, computer codes and just help with the site. If my memory serves right, you were always older than me. xP Therefore, you were usually much wiser. You were usually the big sister of all our members and it was a great honor to have you make a site with me and Roleplay Heaven had been so important for all of us. I mourn for you and Dark's loss but its a rough spot. Definately just a rough spot... *shudders* But yeah... I'm not ready to give up on Roleplay Heaven. You and Dark had bugged me to bring it back and here it is now and I am sure that you two would love to see it back up and running soon. ^^ It was the safe haven for all of us with our young roleplay skills and now it is no different with our [almost]literate roleplay skills. xP I am also looking forward to Wolfsong. ^^ That roleplay was awesome and you displayed your greatness by never giving up on it even when I did. Now its time to turn the tables. I really hope you come back. I'll mish joo! <3

Last but not least is Ember- I'm really sorry that you left. >< Everyone at the site's gonna miss your ready-to-roleplay atittude and I personally will miss that. =3 You're always happy to talk in the cbox and your roleplaying is getting better and better each and every single day. ^^ But I understand how school can be such a burden and parents will not always be up to their expectations. xP [Cheeze-its rcok xP] and so, I really hope you come back soon. ^^ I miss roleplaying with you since the last time I had roleplayed with you was back in Frost Bitten and I am looking forward to your return. ^^ We'll mish joo! <3

Now that that is over with...

I am ready to start with my long, all day clean up. I would really appreciate it if I had help. =3 I will place my list of things to do here and if any staff members[that are still here] that would like to help, please just post here and tell me which task you would like to help me with. I wont get done with all of them, probably because of parents and school work- especially studying for my finals, but it would seriously rock if I got them all done. ^^

Things to do at home or at compy:

• Sketch mascot for RH
  
• Study for finals
  
• Talk to friends if they bug me

• Play with sis
  
• Try not to be on the computer too long. xP
  

Goals:

• Finish my list if things to do over the week end
  
• Bring a few members to the site
  
• Finish purple skin
  
• Finalize updates
  

Thus, my work shall begin. ^^ And just a bit of info about me, I think members are very valuable. It breaks my heart when a member leaves and It hurts even more when I have to delete members. Ask Narchy, Puppys, Canine and Dragon. They all know and I dearly regret my neglect to this site. Hopefully, I will have enough belief and determination to actually give this site a little R&R. If I dont finish more than half of all the stuff I wanna do, I will probably pick a few dates that are free for me and probably put this all in maintanance(sp) mode and update over that length of time. And please please PLEASE bug me to update Roleplay Heaven. I work harder and better when guilt stands clear in my heart and it definately warms my heart when members would be caring enough to come up to me and ask over and over and over to update their beloved site. Dark and Dragon had done that to me when Roleplay Heaven[ the first version] had been closed due to this kind of inactivity and here we are again. Dark and Dragon are gone but I still stand strong with hope for this site. They inspired me and this time, I am determined not to let it fall. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Hmmm. Lucky me I posted on the activity check before Jan. 1. Or I wouldn't be here for people to ask me whatever you were talking about there. XD I got confused as to what you people are supposed to ask me. XD

So yeah I have weird typos... and sometimes I get lazy and inactive but before the Holidays came- and funerals for dead relatives, and birthdays- I was very active. =_= Can't say I'll ever make it to the Champion board though. Either nobody joins the RPs I make like they post sayin' they will, the other roleplayer gets too busy to reply- my fave RPs with Narchy die that way-, or I go inactive from lazy/sick/busy, or muse deficiency. >_< I hated my year-long 'writer's block', I wasn't Puppys at all- when I see my online name, I think of the me some of you know from a pet site called Kiropets, hyper and happy and funny, random and stuff. WITHOUT using sugar XD I'm starting to be that Pups again though. ^^

... And I can prove it by pointing out how much I'm ranting this into a giant post. I usually don't post like this on non-roleplays. xD Well, Angeli, good luck with the site. ^_^ I hope you can get all the goals/to do's done!
