Girl, we know what we're talking about. We start with kits, go through the whole warrior to blah system. Only us, or we really get uber bored and quit an rp. Really. So, I has to start! I'm RPing Mistykit, not her brother Mudkit, and Icekit, in Windclan. Not much muse... Oh gosh, the first post and the kits are acting up...
Mistykit sure sounded affable. But really, was she? Mistykit was born inside the clan, unlike some warriors she knew. She thought that half-bloods were all stupid, and kittypets were forever kittypets at heart. They would still always have thier soft hearts. But there were some exceptions. After all, every rule has an exception. Right? Pure blooded warriors should be treated like pure blooded warriors. Right? Shemeant no harm. Her clan raised her that way. ShadowClan was the clan at the moment. Some kits teased her about her friendly sounding name, but she knew that she was somehow special. She had to be. There was a Mistyscar deputy once, that was a great hero of ShadowClan. There was also a MistySTAR, which was Mistyscar when she was older. Mistyscar literally saved the clan, according to the ledgends around the elder lips. She had a pure blooded brother, that looked nothing like her.
Her brother, being stupid, always got in trouble around the camp. But she loved him. Mistykit was only five moons old, but she knew that being a half-clanner was a definition of weak. She had one friend, or maybe two, she wasn't sure, in other clans. She didn't know if in the future she would fight with or against them if there were battles. She loved hearing the elder stories of nobility and fighting with other clans in great battles, but half of her never really took it for real. Mistykit was still young, she didn't know what to believe. Ever. She was a black and white cat, with mostly white. Her brother was the same colour, almost, but more black and more patchy.
The mostly white femme was blinking sleepily in the kit's nursery, with her mother looking cheerfully upon her. There were the other few kits, and her brother was not there. He probably went elsewhere. Mudkit was probably looking wide-eyed at the apprentices, or he snuck out of camp? Her eyes widened herself. This could be her chance to sneak out herself! Would the leader Shadestar care?
---
Icekit looked dreamily at the water. There always was a drought condition in Windclan, and he never, I repeat, never, saw water much before. The water was coming in droplets, too. If his mother and father were here, they could scold him for not training to run fast, or something. They were obsessed with that. He was directing his thoughts to a kit he thought he saw that was about his age, maybe older. He got naughty and followed apprentices to a border patrol, but he "got sidetracked while training with somecat". Icekit let out a loose yawn. It was indeed odd that a Windclan kit had a name like Icekit, because it would never ice in that territory, but of course his parents wanted him to be fast and burn cats like ice somehow, something like that. He wouldn't understand.
Icekit was four moons old, almost an apprentice. Almost five moons old. The next moon would be full soon, he was eager to the task. Maybe he could get sidetracked again and meet REAL cats. Real cats that weren't the boring cats that he saw every sunset to sunset. He was a bit timid, but he was sure he could bring a real apprentice with him. He knew someone interesting in his clan that was a new apprentice and used to play with him in the kit den when she was there. Wingpaw!
Icekit suddenly felt guilty of defying his clan in thoughts, because kits tend to have pure thoughts like children do, but he didn't want to stay there. He felt a chill coming up his spine. He got up and tried to go and find Wingpaw.. He was excited!
