Harry Potter - Warrior Cats crossover [SL; WIP]

I have NO clue where this came from... I was watching the Chamber of Secrets yesterday (its going to say I posted on Saturday but this came into mind earlier when it was still Friday) with mom, and was thinking about the four houses; then bam, out of the blue my head screamed at me (literally): HARRY POTTER WARRIORS CROSSOVER!

So far we have: Slytherin as ShadowClan, Hufflepuff as WindClan, Gryffindor and ThunderClan, and Ravenclaw as RiverClan. Name mixes: Windpuff, Shadowsnake, RavenClan, and Thunderdor.

Queens stay together when kits are born and travel to a pool when the kits are six moons that changes colors to whatever HouseClan they are when they lap at it. Silver for Ravenclan, black for Shadowsnakes, crimson for Thunderdors, and clear for Windpuffs.

Leaders of the HouseClans are the heads of it; StarClan is the ministers and mistresses of magic.

Potions are special Med. Cat things- this herb and that herb and blahblah makes this poultice (I'm supposing how instead of drinking potions you eat the poultice/massage it into your fur?), etc. And only special apprentices/students are allowed to be trained in potions.

Secret passage ways; well the password lets you into the HouseClan's camp. As Narchy put it;

for like ravenclan you can say it near the river and the river parts and lets you underneath the earth into a large cave and one your tail enters the cave the water starts again

for thunderdor you can like say it and all this branches and thorns swing away to let you into a ravine

for windpuffs it can be like once you get to part of the territory its suddenly covered with a dense fog, and saying the word the fog parts and lets you run through it, and once your paws are in camp it returns, but like you cant see the fog from inside camp, but you can see anyone in the fog and they cant see you

for shadowsnakes it can be that once you get to part of the territory the swamps get unbearable and you sink, like quick sand. but when you say the word it all hardens up/you begin to see stepping stones come above the water, and once you land on one stepping stone the one behind you disappears until you get to camp"

As for the like, wands and spells... more narchyquote time.

"and for the wands, we dont need them and everythings verbal magic while concentrating,s o like its easier for some than others. short attentionspanners are bad while cats you concentrate well are really good at it. and once you get to like, your seventh year your on like mental magic where you can concentrate so well you dont need words xD"

Magical creatures?

"Uhh, How about magical creatures are just there

mice that can fly, birds that cant fly but breathe fire, lizards that burst into flame when you touch them, snails made out of ice by are alive, ect. Things like that, make 'em up as we go. xD"

Muggles, Mudbloods, and Purebloods.

"hmm, muggles can be kittypets/loners/rogues, mudbloods a clancat at heart born from kittypets/loners/rogues. purebloods are full clancats, ect."

More detail on the whole queens-and-kits thing.

"and the queens and kits stay in an isolated part of the mountain, and once the kits turn six moons they have to walk behind a waterfall that lands them at the edge of ravenclan territory near the fourtrees where the moonpool is."

But she's mixing up the books and territories, isn't she? Moonpool is in the new prophecy, fourtrees is in the original, right?

"but theres a pool at the place with fourtrees, and they call it a moonpool. its like the sorting pool - it shows the colors when the cats touch their noses to it."

And there she was, Mudsong Jenny RavenClan, near the river. She should mutter the password, go back into her HouseClan's camp, but she had this itching; no, tugging urge to sneak into the territory of Windpuff.

And so she did.

That's right, miss normally goody-two-paws, breaking rules in the middle of the night. She almost laughed but it would alert someone she's up. And so there she was, letting the magical tug she could not describe pull her and her patchy brown-toned fur, and orangey-brown eyes that were seeming to glow, towards Windpuff's land.

She padded softly, her eyes not blinking much for fear some of the more magically-inhanced cats would hear her lids closeand open. Which is also why she didn't dare breath except in small, random, silent gasps that would last six seconds atl east before it began to hurt, and then she'd hold it as long as possible before she would almost collapse, writhing in pain, gasping for breath. She shuddered at the thought. She was good at imagining the worst/most painful/terrifying things possible (sometimes it managed to make her hurt, too; such as imagingi breaking a leg because of a thorn in her paw, it would make her leg hurt. Very suggestable she is), and it just fueled her to be quicker when she felt forces make her disobey rules. Not a scaredy cat at all, now is she?

And then she suddenly dove into the hollow of a tree, quieting her heartbeat as she slowly peeked her head out enough where she'd still blend into the tree for those without magically enhanced eyesight, and enough so she could see what was in front of her:

A... rabbit? An overly large one at that and... Were its ears made out of bird wings? And it had random feathers all along it's body, too! Colors she couldn't make out in the dark night; but she could tell it had a beak, too. And one name came to mind for her: Narymofus. Bird rabbit, basically. She had heard from the cats who had killed some (and been suspended after bragging to teachers) that they tasted great. But they were endangered; too many cats killing them and so for now it was forbidden.

Of course they were also dangerous; so it was forbidden anyway. They have been known to kill cats and eat them; or just kill and leave. They were known, like Twolegs, to be carnivourus or omnivourus, instead of being decided by the speicies itself, but by the individual specimen. And they were also intelligent like Twolegs; but highly more intelligent indeed. Clever, and some were very bloodthirsty; omni- or carnivourus, didn't matter.

And so Mudsong just stayed there, and pulled herself back into the tree, peeking around once and again. To her horror, it was coming close. This must be it's burrow! The little she-cat thought in despair. It could kill me! Help, oh help someone! And then she started imagining:

Well, it could either eat me or not, kill me or not, or just run away. And I won't dare actually call out; but who would be there to hear but the narymofus, anyhow? Yeah. Shouldn't be stupid; it might read minds too, so I better be quiet mentally now too. Shouldn't be that hard, she ended her mental rant sarcastically. I just hope someone's out there... She added on a last note, and then her mind and vocal coards lay silent.

PEACHFUR MARIAN WINDPUFF

THE young she cat opened her eyes, their bright green color lighting up the den with the small amount of refracted light from the moon. She had been waiting for more than an hour for Leafthorn to fall asleep, the noisy tom kept whispering to himself. She rolled her eyes, giggling gently as she looked around – making sure everyone was sleeping peacefully. She was only in the second year den, being only nine moons but she still needed to make sure more than ever that everyone was asleep. It was said that the older years got a more lenient punishment for being caught on the school grounds after hours, but they were harsh on the younger year, which she was of. A shiver went through Peachfur’s body as she thought about what they might make her do, they’d probably put her to help with the potions professor. She hated him! He was ‘Shadowsnakes all the way, kill the rest’ hard core, and it just freaked her out to the extreme. Yes, Peachie was one of those lucky, yes, lucky, cats to study under Cloudwhiskers for potions. She made a face at the thought. Cloudwhiskers was mean, cruel and graded you harshly – she did honestly hate him, which was saying something for the young Windpuff second year.

SHE gagged under her breath as she let her paws carefully pick her up off of the ground, letting her claws dig into the ground gently. Even thinking about Cloudwhiskers made her feel sick. The she cat shook her light colored calico fur gently, before letting her eyes scan over the second years again. There were about fifteen others besides herself, more than most Windpuffs had in their years – and an even number too, Marian was supposed to be the lucky one, since she was called last on an even number. That’s partially why she was in potions, because she was ‘special’. She gagged again, and then pushed the thoughts out of her mind. Tonight was a night of adventure, not a night to dwaddle on what horrible classes she had received this year – even if they were really bad.

THE calico stepped around her classmates, out of the den and into the bright moonlight, that’s what she loved about the Windpuff house. They lived under the sky, and even now there were professors and adults sleeping under the moonlit sky. She shivered again, if she was caught she’d be dead, no, worse than dead. The young Puffie made her way out of the camp, purposely walking as far away as possible from those who didn’t look all too awake. They had all done this though as apprentices, so why couldn’t she? This made her ego inflate; causing her to puff out her fluffy chest as she made it to the camp entrance. Peachfur was quite bushy, having fluffy fur and an incredibly large tail. She loved it though, it kept her cool in the summertime and warm beyond belief in the colder months – what more could you ask for? She flipped her black spotted tail, holding her head up higher as she stepped through the entrance, the mist engulfing her completely as soon as all paws landed outside of the boundary of the common room. Whispering the magical word, Pixie Wing, under her breath, the mist cleared instantly, making a bubble around the young cat. Weren’t passwords just amazing!?

PEACHFUR then started through the gloom of night. It was roughly two am – ish, and no other cat in their right minds were up this late, unless they were a Shadowsnake of course. Those slithery serpents were usually seen up this late, patrolling borders and doing their normal training to survive at night. It confused Peachie, seeing as those cats couldn’t see anything better than she could, and she had problems seeing in the dark. Sure her vision was better in the dark, still, but it was nice to train in the daytime too – you know when everyone else is up except or just you and your mentor. She stretched her legs, like they weren’t already, but they were still tight from being in one place to long without moving, but she needed to look asleep – so she had lied down with her paws tucked under her chest for hours waiting for the loud mouth to shut up and finally fall asleep.

THEN the younger student heard something, a squawk type of sound coming from up ahead, out of the mist near the border with RavenClan territory. She bounded forward, careless to make sounds. If anyone was up this late they weren’t going to bust her, seeing as when they did they would also get busted for being up so late – and no one in their right mind would bust her just to get themselves busted, it just wasn’t right. Her tail went wild behind her, something that always happened when she got overly excited, like now. Before her eyes there was a bird rabbit, one of the bird rabbits in the school. She felt excitement and adrenaline well up inside of her. It was forbidden to hunt or fight them because of their endangered nature, but nothing ever stated whether or not you could look at it and study it, which was exactly what the tabby was doing right now.

THE thought intrigued her. That something so beautiful could be so dangerous. In school her main mentor – Honeyleaf – would always tell her that the most dangerous things come in the most unusual ways, like the bird rabbit for instance. It was elegant and graceful, yet it was said to be able to kill five cats with only one peck each. She bounced lightly on her heels, watching its movements, unawares of the cat only a little ways away. But unlike that cat, she wasn’t afraid of the magical creature. She was fascinated by it. She inched forward, watching it, before she stepped on a twig. This alerted the majestic bird – type – thing and thus it began flapping its beautiful wings that looked so much like they were too big for the animal. After it flew past, a small whispered curse from Marian could be heard. She sat down, her head hanging. “I always mess everything up!” After that she pawed the ground, kicking up some dirt that drifted in a cloud over to where Mudsong was.

Mudsong blinked. Did she hear someone coming? Maybe that was just the narymofus’ heartbeat. She hoped so, and yet hoped it was some other cat at the same time.

And then it was gone, in a puff of smoke.

Mudsong coughed and choked. Okay, more like gone in a puff of dust. But it had been right there; and then it flapped its ears and flew away. Weird. She peeked around the tree, coughed at more dust, and then peeked out again after having jerked her head out of the dust.

The dust was coming from the wrong direction. It was coming from in front of her and slightly to her right; near the border of the Windpuff territory, and the narymofus was heading more to the left. Maybe it crashed for a moment..? Probably not; it was said that narymofuses were good flyers.

And once the dust cleared, the she-cat blinked her eyes, her little fifth year eyes, to clear the last of the dust out. And she saw a cat. Oh, great. Just great. I bet it’s a lookout that’ll turn me in. But it wasn’t acting like a monitor. She sniffed; smelled of Windpuff. Weren’t the Shadowsnakes the lookouts usually? And didn’t she hear some words come with the dust? ‘I mess everything up’ they had sounded like. Oh well, it didn’t matter right now.

Yet, the she-cat felt that tugging sensation to go talk to the Windpuff cat. And so she did. She slunk her multi-toned brown fur, as if she was a like brown or tan that got splashed with mud, toward the cat, sneaking along on her belly, trying to stay by trees and shadows, trying to hold her eyes to just cracks seeming as the moon, as there were no clouds, would reflect and make the orbs glow too brightly. She would be spotted miles away, and-

And there she was. Right behind the cat; close enough the grab some fur on the tail. She barely breathed; why startle the cat by breathing when she could say ‘hello’ in a rather loud whisper; loud enough to freak the apparently young Windpuff, but not enough to alert others to her presence? Wait a minute, I’m not mischievous…Why should I do that? Why would I want to? Mudsong thought. And then she heard a voice, not different from her own, but with a bold, malicious, evil feel to its presence. ‘Cause it would be fun, the voice said, dangerously tempting. And then she felt the pull again, the one that so rarely made her do things she knew were wrong; against all instinct.

She tried to fight it, the brown apprentice did. But they’ll report me for being on school grounds after moon-rise! She begged, pleaded. Tried to reason with that terrible voice, that terrible voice in her head; but it seemed like it had complete rule over her right now. I’ll be suspended.

Nonsense, the voice screamed at her. It’s just another naughty cat like us- and then Mudsong interrupted. Us? Get out of my head! You’re not me! You’re not part of me! There is no us!

The creepy voice laughed. Oh, but I have always been with you. Always. You were born with me; remember your stillborn twin sister? I managed to slip into you, to be with you. Who do you think made you decide to sneak off with the other kits sometimes? Your own mind? Hah! Yeah right, you little goody two-paws. No offence, the voice added.

And if Mudsong hadn’t been in shock, she would have been shaking. So…when I die… You’ll die a second time? And I’ll be a perfect, boring, ‘goody two-paws’ as a spirit? And you’ll have your own spirit body? If she hadn’t been in shock, she’d have shuddered. The thought of another spirit in her body besides her own was unnerving, even if it was her twin sister.

Yup, her sister’s spirit said cheerfully; sarcastically. And then she got impatient and forceful; threatening her sister. Now scare that little Windpuff before I take control of your body forever!

She tried to think of more reasons why, and she had found some, and was about to- mentally- speak up; when she felt a searing pain in her head. She almost cried out. Hurts, doesn’t it? To have your spirit clawed up? Hurts more to die. I can kill your spirit. And then the fifth year cat was afraid, so afraid. She didn’t want to die from her own twin sister’s spirit killing her. But you’re my sister… Mudsong whimpered in her mind.

So?

So Mudsong took a deep (silent as possible) breath, and breathed out a single word, loud enough to scare you if you didn’t know someone was there (fortunately she was upwind of the Windpuff), knowing it would be wrong. But if felt so right; even though it was wrong. So very wrong. She thought a single, angry phrase at the voice of her sister before trying to scare the young cat before her; I hate you.

And then she spoke. “Hello, there.”

The she-cat flinched at the sound of her own words. She rarely spoke out loud; her voice sounded so alien to her. And would probably scare the fur off the poor cat in front of her. Mudsong waved her tail around waiting for the reaction; the yowling or screeching or fight that would follow.

Oh, and you may call me Stonetwig, her sister giggled in her mind.

And then Mudsong had a name for the evil that was her sister. Stonetwig. Nobody would tell her the name of her twin; ‘just best to forgive and forget,’ they would say. ‘Pretend she doesn’t exist,’ they said.

And then a cold fear, not the fear of dieing, chilled her body: what if her sister would become a dark sorceress? Overtake her body; rip her own soul to shreds?

Nonsense! You’d become powerful with me. I would keep you; just not let you have power over the body we share. And then no cat would stop us, could stop us. Just wait ‘till you graduate… And the snickering, the horrible snickering of Stonetwig, echoed in her mind, the words she had spoke sending chills down her spine, making her colder then she already was...
